Apr 29,2024Collection of the skip was particularly difficult as you cannot get any specific times from them as to when the skip lorry will arrive, with a call promised 30 mins before. The call did not happen and the 'guaranteed' after 12 pm collection also almost didn't happen, stating it might happen the next morning. I had to chase the skip company directly as the customer service representatives at Waste Online we're not helpful.

Apr 15,20244yd skip ordered and arrived on time, however had the remains of the last load still in, ie - a load of paint which was seeping out of the plug hole as it was being lowered onto my drive. The driver tried to stop the flow by placing a crisp packet a piece of wood and a handful of soil over the hole but the damage was already done. When i contacted wasteOnline they were very apologetic and offered to swap skips but like i said the damage was already done. The skip was collected on time, professional driver turned up who used wood under the vehicle stabiliser feet to prevent damage and netted the skip before driving off. Haven't had time to try washing off the paint yet. Just a warning to others- and It clearly says No paint in the skips.. so whoever dumped all that paint loose in the skip- thanks for nothing.. Apart from that I would use again.
