We provide disabled adaptations to local authorities. . We decided to give Wasteonline a try in July 2020. We have used them several times since and overall the service has been good. We had a skip from them recently, we received e mail notification on Friday 19/3/21 at 7.34 confirming that the skip would be collected between 7.30am and 17.30. We received a missed call at the office from wasteonline at 7.29am, the office doesn't open until 9am. The property in question is gated and occupied by a disabled client, who was in bed and did not hear the intercom. Wasteonline then contacted us later that day at 11am to say that there would now be an ABORTIVE VISIT CHARGE OF £99. Our Managing Director contacted Wasteonline to try and apply some common sense, stating that he felt it was unreasonable to charge for an abortive visit on the basis that the disabled client was still in bed at 7.30 when the driver allegedly arrived to take the skip away. If we had prior notice of collection at 7.30, we could have informed the client to ensure that they were up and about to open the gate. Despite trying to reason with the company and stating that from April we would have been ordering 4 skips per week (circa £1000/week) due to a new contract win, our common sense approach fell on deaf ears and basically we were advised that unless we paid the £99 fee, the skip would not be removed. We could say more about this companies business and service ethics, but we doubt it will change their attitude. Try and avoid using this business at all costs.

A little over priced but but figured it saved me the agro of having to call around. I asked if I could keep the skip for longer via email as there is no number and live chat was closed. Emailed me back to say this isn't a problem charge will be.... I replied with that's fine. Now that's taken care of I can keep my boss happy by working my day off, I can fill the skip later. They took the skip anyway, only half full at a cost of £400+. I asked them to bring the skip back but they said they couldn't as the skip company had it booked out on another job, I spoke directly with the skip company who told me they had plenty free so they lied. Then refused to send me a smaller skip so I could at least finish my project. Short sighted decision as I manage a building company so could of been the start of a great relationship.

As a company who's sole purpose is to collect and drop off skips, they made a complete hash of both. Collected it (unannounced) a week late and then tried to complain about what had been put in it. Followed it up with threatening messages from"customer service" about what they do if I didn't pay up. Thugs, liars and cheats. Avoid.

Useless!! Applied to the wrong council for my skip permit and told me on the morning that I couldn’t have my skip which put my garden renovation behind by a week. Stick to your local skip suppliers , they know what they’re doing.

Ordered a skip to arrive Friday. I had to contact wasteofspaceonline myself at 5pm when it still hadnt arrived. Turns out there wasn't any available unlike the £345 I paid straight away to have it delivered. We had builders/plumbers arriving first thing Saturday to start renovation on our house. Everything ended up in my front garden. Wasteofspaceonline promised it would be here first thing Monday. I had to chase it up 3 times, by which point work on the house has to stop as we had nowhere left to dump stuff. Finally arrived 2pm.... You pay about am extra £50-80 for using this service. Ill be doing the shopping around myself next time

Very bad service. Skip was full as one is expected to be and we were asked to pay £90 on top of the £221 for someone to collect the skip. However, the driver did not collect the skip as it was full and still asked for £72 (Just for having a look). We were then asked to pay another £200 for them to collect the full skip (without removing rubbish ourselves). We declined this as it was a ridiculous sum to ask for and had to take a load of waste out of the skip ourselves and find a wasteland to drop it off at.

How can you charge £85 for a road permit when other companies and LCC are charging £25 ? that's just a blatant rip off. I estimate I will need 6 or 7 skips over the build so you expect me to pay £85 each time i hire a skip. Fat chance. I won't be using this company and advise others to look around first .

This company hooks you in with a promise of delivery and then stalls and stalls. We booked in for Monday 1st June - got an email saying it would be Tuesday.. it eventually arrived half way through Wednesday - that after much chasing up and hassling on the phone to them. Incidentally, they don't give a phone number, you have to chase by email and then they might phone you. In this case they blamed the local subcontractor for the bad service. We had arranged for someone to come and help with the skip loading, so it was a disaster for us. We had booked the skip for 3 days, but it was barely 2 days as it was collected early on Friday morning! When asked for a reduction due to bad service, Gareth, the "manager" hid behind COVID-19 and their disclaimer. He didn't even apologise for the bad service. PLEASE FOR YOUR OWN SANITY, AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE! As mentioned they ARE hiding behind disclaimers and COVID-19 issues! Apologies mean nothing without monetary reparation! PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!
