I just wanted to say that your company has been the easiest out of a few that I have approached to discuss my options with. Your consultant Billy has been attentive, helpful, informative and reassuring throughout the process without ever making me feel under pressure. He has also followed up on his calls and given me all the information I have needed to consider my options. I would definitely recommend your company to anyone considering going down the route of finding a cash buyer for their property due to your business model and the approach of your friendly yet professional and well informed staff.

Due to retirement we decided to look for a smaller more manageable property and came across a bungalow which suited but required a fast sale. We enquired about a cash sale for our property so contacted We Buy Any Home who gave us a probable cash price and arranged for valuation/surveyor so a definite cash price could be agreed. Unfortunately the property we were after sold very quickly and with no other property on the horizon we decided to stay put for the time being. We were treated courteously at all times by Billy Farrant of WBAH who answered all our questions and followed our journey without any undue pressure. Many thanks to Billy who has left our details open should we come across a similar property.

The process was made to feel very professional and explained clearly from start to finish. The process was managed by Billy Farrant, he was excellent and I would highly recommend WeBuyAnyHome

The customer service gets a 5 star from Billy he was attentive, he regularly checked in and ensured I was up to date, however, there could have been a lot more clarity around the exact amount that they would offer once the solicitors and underwriters were involved. I was extremely disappointed with the final offer, having already put an offer in a forward purchasing and now struggling with the onward purchase. If it had been made clear from the start that it would drop to 20-30% less than I would never have proceeded with further calls. I was offered 15% less than and only told at the last minute that due to stamp duty etc that it wouldn't be possible to now offer this. So the reality is, if need to sell, take another 10 - 20% off what they originally say to manage expectations.

Sold my house in a very short time frame. I didn’t get full market value but then I wasn’t expecting to. Thanks

This company employs people who are more than willing to lie, provide fake reports, make up stories in order to steal property from people at over 50% discount. They should be banned and sued. Never use or trust them.

Appalling service, promised much and delivered very little. They appeared entirely focused on buying for as little as you can be persuaded to accept. As executor of my brothers estate I needed to sell his house which was in a poor state of repair needing full renovation and so could only be purchased by a cash buyer e.g. property developer. For this reason on 25th January I contacted We Buy Any Home (wbah). My initial call was taken by agent PW to whom I gave an accurate and detailed description of the property and the work required to make it saleable. He gave me an acceptable offer based on valuations I had received from local estate agents and explained the wbah proposition i.e. I would receive an amount around 15% below market value and in return I would get a very simple and fast completion, the target date being the 9th February. He also explained that if wbah reduced their offer at any point in the proceedings, I could walk away with no cost or penalty. On that basis I agreed to proceed. I was urged not to use my own solicitor as this would slow down the process and I should use one from wbah’s panel, I agreed to do so. However, it was not mentioned that if I were to cancel our arrangement for any other reason, I would suffer a penalty of £5000. On 26th January I signed wbah’s contract. From that point on, I dealt only with agent TH. On 29th January a visit to the house was arranged with their agent to take photographs and measurements which were subsequently sent to several local estate agents for desktop valuations. On 30th January, I signed a contract with their nominated solicitors. On 7th of February I was contacted by TH and the offer was reduced based on the estate agents responses. This was not wholly unexpected and I did agree to proceed. 8th February I signed to agree to the reduced offer, having had written confirmation that wbah would pay the solicitors fees. 12th February we exchanged contracts. 13th February a RICs survey was completed and confirmed exactly my initial description of the property in every detail and with no additional issues. 19th February TH called to inform me that due to the RICs survey report, wbah could not purchase at the agreed price. I pointed out that the report contained nothing that was not in my day one description of the property condition and the work required. His response was that the house was now deemed not mortgageable. This fact was glaringly obvious from the outset which is why I contacted wbah in the first place. TH continued to insist they could not buy at the agreed price. Hence I declined outright and thanked wbah for wasting three weeks of my time. TH then asked if I would like him to obtain a final reduced offer. I told him not to bother as under no circumstances would I accept a further reduced offer and would cancel our agreement as per contract with no charge. On 21st February TH calls again saying wbah will now buy at the agreed price but in a different manner which necessitated a new named buyer on the agreement. I agreed and he advised that “my solicitor” would send me the details. It then took ten days, after my chasing, for wbah solicitors to send the appropriate papers to my solicitors, I subsequently signed the revised exchange of contract on 12th March. Between 6th and 25th March I was advised to expect completion on nine different dates, all of these failed with various dubious excuses from wbah via TH who, with each apology, declared his increasing embarrassment; even stating that he would endeavour to obtain some compensation for the failure, frustration and inconvenience caused. On 27th March we finally completed, although the completion statement had to be corrected due to the solicitors billing me instead of wbah. Instead of the promised quick and simple process with an initial stated completion target of 15 days, it took 69 days of attempts to reduce the offer, constant delays, excuses and aggravation. The only promise that wbah kept, was to pay below the market value. The offer of compensation, when I pursued it, was a £100 voucher! Which I didn’t accept. If asked to recommend wbah, I would advise only use if you have no other option, decide before you contact them, the minimum offer you will accept and stick to it; and definitely use your own solicitor. Their reply below received 16/05/24 is just a standard b....s..... reply. Just as expected.

I'm sorry to leave a negative feedback, but this company is not good at responding to calls sometimes you have to wait a week even after returning their call from the same day. They do not complete in 7 days, which is not entirely their fault but at the last minute the will drop the agreed price significantly, in my case from £520k to £400k. I'm very disappointed that they wasted my time.

I made an enquiry about selling our flat, spoke to someone on the telephone, we made a date and time to discuss selling but the person did not call back, this was about 1 year ago. They called again, made another date and time and they did not call back. A third time they contacted me about three weeks ago, we made a date and time again and they did not call back. So, I thought I would have another go, I asked for them to call me and someone did. This was yesterday, someone called me back only to tell me that they don't buy any home because my flat that I wish to sell is on an island, I was informed by the webuyanyhome.com telephone representative that they don't buy properties that are on an island. So, is it true that they by any home?

My Five star experience goes to Tom Hardcastle. He was fantastic from start to finish. He did exactly what he said he would and made what would usually be a very stressful time a lot easier. Hope Tom gets some recognition for this as he’s a credit to the company.

Customer service great But be warned they will constantly delay processing! Giving me 5 different days for completion and none of them met Use their own surveyors so be prepared for the offer to drop even more..went from £145000 to £108000. Very Very very slow company they will not complete it in the 7 day promise. Also their solicitors are even slower!! Constant form signing and will also delay your funds using ridiculous excuses

This company sells themselves as a quick cash buyer. Don't believe what they say, they are not quick and you will not get the full price they specify when you first speak to them. If you decide to go ahead, expect your sale price offer to be reduced last minute by 15-30%. Also expect the sale to complete at least 2-4 weeks later than they agreed in the beginning. On the plus side, they really will buy a house when no one else will.

I wanted to sell quickly as I’m moving abroad and found selling the traditional way was going to take too long! It was done in 12 days and I found the process really stress free which is just what I needed with all that’s going on. Everything was clear and I was well supported
