Sep 13,2023I was offered a reasonable price initially from this company, roughly 85% of market value and they said they could complete in 10 days so I thought I would give them a go… They seemed really helpful to start with and wanted me to sign a contract with them as quickly as possible. This should have raised alarm bells at this stage. Once contract was signed I instructed my solicitor to send their solicitors all relevant information they had requested. They next said they had to confirm valuation by contacting local estate agents. A week then went by with no further information. I had to keep calling them for updates and when I eventually managed to get through to someone to answer the phone they had no updates. Three weeks go by and still no “updates” from estate agents. (Bear in mind initially they said they could complete in 10days) It got to a point that I would ring off my phone and could not get an answer, so I tried using my partners phone and they answered straight away (coincidence…?) but still no update on valuation. I gave them another week and tried calling them again but could not get an answer, I used my partners phone still no answer either. So I tried my parents phone, a number I hadn’t used and “coincidently” they answered straight away. At this point I’d had enough. I told them I felt that they were messing me about and they still couldn’t give me a valuation so I withdrew. Stay away from this company. They seem to just tell you what you want to hear in desperate times but as soon as they have got you reeled in they don’t care.

Aug 27,2023Big thanks to Ashley M. Not going to lie but before Ashley took on my case everything was moving very slowly. I didn’t have much communication from the person dealing with my case and after not hearing from her for awhile as she said she was going on holiday. I decided to call up just to find out she left! At this point I was quite disheartened but as soon as Ashley took over it was amazing. The man was in contact with me almost every other day with updates and kept me well informed. I cannot thank him enough. 4 stars only because no one told me the person dealing with the case left. We now have completed our case and started renovating our new home all thanks to Ashley!

Aug 22,2023I had a particular set of circumstances, which required me to sell the house quickly. Whilst the final agreed price was lower than initially discussed due to a number of factors including market conditions, overall my experience was positive. In short the company does what it says on the tin. I was very impressed by the 2 team members who handled my case, Ross English and Greg Pearson, who both dealt with me in a professional manner and kept me updated on a frequent basis, and responded quickly to emails and phone calls relating to various queries I had during the process.

Aug 12,2023We are an elderly couple and are quite vulnerable; My husband is very seriously ill and we needed a quick sale to enable him to have his wish to return home to South Wales from our 4 bedroom detached house in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds. There is nothing wrong with this spacious detached house, which we purchased in 2020 for £365.000, other than the fact that it has three floors, and we needed a quick sale. At first "We buy any home" we're really helpful and positive, and made us an initial offer of £340.000. However this was dropped to £330.000 even before the survey was done. They pressed us to sign all the legal papers, and to send the necessary documentation; before giving us the final price. I was reluctant to do this, but eventually agreed. They have dragged the whole process out for weeks, causing a lot of stress not only to my sick husband, but also to myself. They raised our hopes, causing me to view several suitable properties in South Wales. I was booked in to view the most suitable bungalow next Wednesday. However "We buy any home", treated us appallingly and insulted our intelligence , in not playing their part of the bargain, and giving us the final offer. Eventually, we pressed for an answer, and eventually they admitted it would be an extremely low one. In fact had we agreed we would have lost many thousands less than their initial agreed price. Say below £300.000 in fact, and an absolute insult for such an exceptionally desirable property, with some years still left on the new build guarantee. DO ;NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE IF YOU WISH TO REMAIN STRESS FREE. They do not keep their promises ,or live up to their claims. They should change their name to "WE BUY ANY HOME FOR PEANUTS".DO NOT TRUST THEM, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. We have lost our chosen property, and our health, especially that of my husband has been greatly affected by this Hellish experience. It has also been the cause of incorrect information being published on other property sites, leaving us with a lot to correct, in order to attract buyers. They are SHARKS who prey on the vulnerable and are not to be trusted. (Apologies to the Sharks, who are much nicer)

Aug 09,2023Absolute timewasters!!! Initial offer was circa 85% of value which was acceptable. However after nearly 2 weeks of a firm offer being promised after their valuations by estate agents who never visited the property. (photos and videos taken by there representative) the valuation comes in another 15-20k less than initial offer. Completely wasted 3 weeks of my time on these cowboy chancers. Don't go anywhere near them, cant give zero stars or i would have.

Aug 04,2023I dealt with the same representative, name withheld for confidentiality reasons, throughout and his initial offer of £124,000 was accepted by me. However, following my requested declarations re Admin fees and Ground Rent, as a result of him deeming the figure being excessive, the offer was reduced to £102,000. I will admit that my response included the words joke and insulting, however, a concluding e-mail stated totally incorrectly that I had rejected the offer of £124,000. I have the e-mail exchange as evidence should the need arise. I was never at any stage given the opportunity to negotiate, which is disappointing as I believe we may have been able to agree mutually on a figure closer to their lower offer. 4 Aug 23. I have received a message via Trustpilot from We Buy Any Home to confirm and forward my details which I have done so. I will await any contact, however, I have noted that there have been no replies to any 1or 2 star ratings for some considerable time. 10 Aug 23. Trustpilot requested further evidence following a response from We Buy Any Home stating that the e-mails ent by their alleged representative were legitimate. I have now received 2 e-mails from the same named individual claiming I rejected their offer of £124k. I am awaiting their response to my positive acceptance replies.

Jul 15,2023Initial offer 10% below market value. Second offer 25% below market value. Valuations arranged quickly. Not so quick to reply to messages. We tried but it was easy to walk away from final offer. Strangely they then wanted to market the house at the intial offer price on their own website. I was amused to be offered the deal that if they get more then they keep it. Keep your eyes wide open when dealing with these people. **Update** Just wait until they set their bots on you. Type 'optout' to stop messages - I never opted in. lol! **Update** Nothing detrimental discovered in your evaluations. You actually said it was your 'under writers'. I did keep a copy of the conversation. Terrible experience. Not recommended. **Update** You obviously didn't read my review. I got 45k more than your final offer.... duhhh... **Update** They always try to have last word. It was not your valuers that came up with the insulting offer but your 'under writers'. I recorded our conversations. I would never consider contacting you again. In the end, we achieved higher than your first offer... Now that says everything about dealing with your company.

Ross and Tom worked hard to made the sale go through smoothly and on time, I was very impressed and would recommend to friends and family if they were looking for a quick sale and were willing to accept less than market value
