I very rarely write reviews, but I am so shocked and disappointed.. I ordered some donuts to be delivered for my husbands 30th birthday ( instead of a cake) When they arrived they were stale and rock hard, they were not edible! I contacted customer service and they offered me 10% of my next order! No refund! Shocking customer service. Please do not order from this company, my kids faces lit up when they saw these arrive and then we were all left disappointed as we couldn’t eat them. Shame on you wenzels, disgusting you would not refund me.
I ordered from Golders Green wenzels on the just eat app I was missing an item phoned the store and got the excuse of oh it’s my colleague she’s new she made a mistake then he said this has never happened before. I know for a fact it has as this is the 3rd time it has happened to me I don’t like being lied to and will never use this store again.
Ordered my regular order of 2 chicken salad bloomers from the Hornchurch branch, really disappointed hardly any chicken more like a chunky cucumber sandwich. Not enjoyable and overpriced, use to Really enjoy these but will not be ordering them again
Order online got a stall baguette and burnt sausage roll not to mention the weird paste that I think was ment to be sausage meat it's really bad avoid that place go Greg's or pret instead
Wenzels seem to have a policy where they like to increase prices but deteriate the contents of their baguettes. Won't be going there ever again.
My colleague&myself had a not so good experience with foul tasting coffee on on day this shop in Reading opened,but since speaking to the great staff and understanding that their were teething problems with new coffee machine,AND CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE we have given them a second chance and the coffee was much better, their food is good and well priced but I should say their loafs of uncut bread are fantastic. SO I REWROTE MY REVIEW to give a honest opinion
Very dry overcooked old sausage rolls in Chapel market.
Purchased a birthday cake, from the Brentwood store! which collapsed after a few hours of collection, cut a small piece offered to other guests that was visiting sadly could give them any as it had to mush. Super disappointed, was offered 10% discount as compensation lol never again!!!!
Went into Wenzels Wembley central this morning and ordered a mocha,Jamaican Patti.The customer service was 10/10 Sarah was friendly and very helpful thanks for the service.
Why do wenzels charge £2.99 for a Jamaican patty in store but £3.99 plus delivery online
As a company, Inspirations (Maidenhead) Limited, we use our local Wenzel branch in Maidenhead and have always found the staff to be professional, helpful and cheerful, particularly Sophie & Emily.
I visit Wenzels in Northwood regularly and find Christina very helpful. She offers excellent customer service, always smiling and happy. It makes my day. Thank you for all you do! You are simply the best!!!
Every Wenzels branch around my area in North West London is great - coffee is always good and the pastries and baguettes. Walk down to Wenzels for a breakfast baguette + coffee and an extra sausage for the dog always a good way to start a weekend.
Maidenhead branch. Bought and paid for a large order of platters for a get together. I ordered in store with Sophie, and specified a food allergy. I was called before the pick up, to let me know everything was ready. The quality of the sandwiches, bridge rolls, baby baguettes and sausage rolls was really good, generous fillings, lovely bread, nicely presented and packaged, the mini Danish pastries were superb. Super experience, good, personal customer service, exactly as I had ordered it. I would definitely order party food there again. Thank you Sophie.
I have used wenzel's in Hillingdon a number of times. which i personally find the food lovely & fresh. The thing i will state, is that the service and how your treated by the staff is excellent, friendly, helpful & professional. I will be using this bakers regularly.
The Jamaican patty firstly is an insult to my country, I used to be ok with it until I just bought one which was burnt and disgusting. Secondly the device is crap
Failed and paid for delivery. Delivery company ordered from are much use as a chocolate toilet. Wenzels say they could not help even though delivery driver was there. Guess someone has taken our order for themselves. Number given to me is NOT customer service. Seems from other disgruntled customer's review's (should of checked these first.) not only one to have a failed delivery, now out of pocket.
Rude and arrogant staff, had an awful experience at branch in Bushey Heath on 17th September 2022 at 5.15pm. The Eastern European lady working in this branch is VILE the way she speaks and treats customer, I am not the only customer miss treated at this branch. Why she has not been investigated and sacked is shocking, shes giving company bad name. Message to Wenzels head office please investigate this lady and replace her shes not fit to work with customers, ive never come across anyone so rude, DISGUSTING AVOID THIS
Just bought my last steak slice( and any Wenzel's product really) and it was truly disgusting. There was hardly any steak in it and whatever little steak I could find was mindblowingly chewy and of the lowest quality. By all means please continue increasing your prices while providing us with the lowest quality. Please do not reply to me you will look into it which we all know you will not, and continue priding yourselves with your innovative award winning strategy of increasing prices while providing lowest quality products.

Dec 16,2022I ordered some donuts for my wife’s 30th birthday instead of a cake. I did so a month in advance and after waiting a full day for the order to arrive I didn’t receive it. After I contacted customer service i was told the order will be sent out again and this order didn’t arrive too, a few days later I was phoned by a very polite lady saying that they don’t know why this happened and blaming the delivery company, she apologised and said that I’ll be getting a refund and my order which sounded good and I did get refunded the next week, however the order did not arrive again and I tried to contact customer service once again just to check if I’ll actually will be getting my order and they didn’t reply to me this time. I am glad I got refunded but because of them my wife was left without cake for her birthday because I had to spend the entire day waiting and hopping the donuts will arrive. I am extremely disappointed with the company.
