Excellent service. All the workmen were very professional and efficient. Development plans were creative and met all our needs for our extension, we are very happy withthe end result. I would highly recommend this service

Recent conservatory roof upgrade by this great firm....no issues despite poor weather, the whole job was completed on time, on budget....what more could you ask for. I have used this firm for over ten years and would chose no other. Many thanks again W Y Windows.

We were very pleased with the whole experience. Colin who came first was not pushy but clear and helpful. We were able to go ahead quickly with the accurate measurement of the windows and then the installation. On a very, very cold day, the windows were expertly fitted and an excellent finish achieved. The workmen were very polite and very careful, covering flooring and furniture before staring the work. At completion they tidied up and swept up leaving no mess at all. Very pleased.

Unfortunately the ability to leave a negative number of stars is not an option. Despite the assurances from the salesman regarding the high quality of product and workmanship. I have found them to be lacking on every level. 1. The fitters left no less than 20 4" screws on my driveway after they had finished fitting the windows. They were only spotted moments before I pulled on to my driveway after a screw head glistened in the sun. 2. A bead in the bathroom which was CLEARLY incorrectly fitted was deemed acceptable. It was eventually rectified after 7 months of emails between myself and the installation manager - who initially denied that there were any problems. Furthermore they felt it appropriate to send one of the fitters who was out walking his dog to rectify the bead in question. If that doesn't reek high quality standards or quality assurance of any kind I don't know what does(sic) 3. West Yorkshire Windows do not make their own windows, they are made by a company called Visual - based in Mirfield. This was not told to us at any point. 4. If you have an issue that needs resolving expect a lengthy email exchange before anything happens 5. Despite the invoice being settled 3 months ago we have still not received a PAID invoice or details of our warranty 6. Buyer beware - do your research first. Only use this company if you like slow, poor quality and argumentative emails.

I originally went into the showroom at Wakefield to have a look around to see what they had to offer and a rough idea of prices as we didnt know whether to move house or build on the back. I made an appointment for someone to come out to give us a drawing and a quote. A gent called Dave Brockman came out to measure up and draw to our specifications. After a few days we didnt 100% like what we gave Dave to do so Dave being Dave came back out again the next day to re-measure after we decided on the conservatory we now have. They did everything from the test dig and the planning application through to the final touches. The builders were great even cleaning up everytime they made a bit of mess. I would recommend West Yorkshire Windows to anyone, theyre not the cheapest but having learnt the hard way in the past you get what you pay for. Cheers Dave and the team.

Used for front upstairs windows in our old cottage. Pre-installation all went smoothly. The guys who came to fit the windows were brilliant. Quick, efficient and thorough. Did good clean up job and were friendly and polite. A really good job on a very cold day. Windows look good and work well. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again when our other windows are ready for replacement. Thanks

WYW fitted our new garden room last year with which we are very pleased. The only negative side to both interactions with the company (from our experience) is their tendency to move dates and timesof fitting etc which can be frustrating. That said, we are again very pleased with our new window; great job, thank you

The fitting team completed the job with Bifold doors cleanly within the day. A small problem with a gasket seal adrift took over two weeks to resolve. The fitter said the carpet pulled it loose even though the photos shows it was over the frame base plate and NOT reaching the carpet. The completed job is excellent.

I needed new upstairs windows in a house I've moved into recently. I had 4 companies come to give me quotes & ended up choosing West Yorkshire Windows. Not because they were the cheapest but because the quality looked good & the 20yr guarantee sounded great - if they can give such a long guarantee then the item must be very good. The sales guy was nice enough who came to see me & when I said I had other quotes to get before making a decision he wasn't pushy at all. Said fine & hoped to hear from me soon. I did read the reviews & couldn't find anything bad about window installations so I booked them in. A guy came to do a full survey 2wks before the installation date. I got a text reminding me the week before. On the day 2 men turned up just before 9am & got straight on with it. They were both hard at it all day & the end result is perfect. They've made sure all the inside joins are clean & tidy. Minimal damage was caused which surprised me as the old windows were really old & I was sure they'd cause damage removing them, but they didn't. They cleaned up all the outside mess & took away everything. I'm pretty sure they even vacuumed the stairs to ensure nothing was left. After they'd installed all 5 windows they showed me how they open & left loads of keys for them. Asked me if I was pleased with the results & then went. All in all a brilliant experience & I'd highly recommend these guys for windows. I'll definitely use them for the downstairs windows when I can afford to get them done.

We invited a few companies to come and quote for a single storey extension at the back of our property and from day one West Yorkshire Windows were the best. They were very knowledgeable and accommodating on my changing designs! The workmanship has been of a very high quality and I have been kept informed of progress at every stage. The workmen are courteous and work very hard. If an when we need further work doing on our house I will definitely use them again.

Took over 4 months to build as had to take brick work down 3 times built wrong. Damaged upvc fitted scratches to windows and doors. Missing parts to hinges. Floor was like a bowl and springy flexing as walked on. Leakes all the time and possible damage to existing drainage. Customer care non existent and overall feeling of fu not bothered. Go elsewhere for a conservatory At the s ame time m y conservatory started 3 houses were started near me and they were finished and moved into!!!!!!
