yet another review that should be ZERO, placed an order with Elixir Garden Supplies, who unknown to me use WHISTL, they passed the order to them on 24th Feb, status of all four tracking numbers showing as "collection scheduled" and like so many others the order has gone totally astray. There must be a warehouse full of all these missing orders. Don't deal with any company that uses WHISTL. Can't even get any answers from Elixir as they failed to ring back and don't now answer their phone so avoid them too. Will be investigating how to report them to trading standards
Whistl asked me to provide tracking details for a lost parcel mentioned on Trustpilot. This appears to be the only way to reply. Parcel sent 7 February. L12612111003137074
Whistl courier leaves parcels wherever! One was left by fence outside my garden although courier stated they had handed it to me. My latest parcel was left by gate after dark in pouring rain and only discovered the next day - contents and packaging soaked
Placed an order via Amazon several days ago, delivery due in 3/4 days ....almost a week later goods had not arrived. Then received an email from Whistl saying that the delivery is delayed. Upon checking the tracking number it appeared that the item had been collected by Whistl and was 'in transit' and had been for some days but not yet at the Whistl depot...where has it been for well over a week? Why oh why do companies use a courier with consistently poor reviews as have Whistl. Don't they read the reviews prior to choosing their means of dispatch? Surely they realise that a poor courier company reflects upon the seller and their business and the more information they have about the courier companies the better to choose a reliable one. Unfortunately the couriers a seller uses is often omitted from their dispatch details so the buyer is unable to make an informed decision whether to buy from them or not. There are plenty of good reliable couriers out there - sellers do your homework and read reviews before risking the ire of your buyers when their goods go astray or delivered late.
I stupidly missed that I had given the wrong postcode to the seller of my book. The tracking showed as 'delivered' but then shortly after, delivery rescheduled, then in transit. It has arrived today (Sunday) with a new sticker added with the correct postcode. People often review only when they want to moan about bad service (sometimes justified, sometimes not) but I feel its important to balance it when things go well. I am impressed.
Unfortunately Music Magpie use Whistl, and items can spend up to a week in Whistl's system before being handed over to Royal Mail for delivery. I've had items from Music Magpie take two weeks to reach me. I think Rarewaves use them too. I don't understand why they're so slow, and it's put me off using Music Magpie.
Out for delivery 3/4 times according to tracking, unexpected problem etc. Left outside lights on to make it easier to find the house in the dark on each occasion. Found the item this morning thrown over the gate amongst leaves etc. Apparently it was delivered yesterday.
I got a parcel. It's not my parcel, someone else parcel. Of course, support does not work these days.
Paid for the item five days ago, was dispatched by seller instantly. Yet the tracking has been stuck on the 'at depot' message for two days, with no item in sight. We have tried live chat but they have only told us the same, that the item is at the depot, but they can't provide any more information, just told to contact the seller, but they have just said the same. So we have no idea when the gift will arrive. Yet if using royal mail direct we never have had an issue.
I've had a dispatch email from Whistl but I'm unsure who sent this item. I've tracked it and for over a week now its been sat in a depot doing nothing. I'm not spending money calling them to find out what they plan to do with the item and there is no email address or chat system for customers. Terrible lack of customer support or care for items.
If I could give no stars, I would. Had a package due on January 30th, but still never arrived. Checked the tracking with the number provided by the seller and it says its been at the depot. Its now February 12th and its been at the depot with no movement since 24/01. Their customer service is basically non-existent. Their live chat is utterly useless, as is their Twitter. I also sent an email and have had no reply at all. Not even an acknowledgement. They have the package but tried blaming the seller. I don't expect to receive the package now but I am shocked and appalled at the non-existent service. Truly, truly dire and awful.
Ordered a book via Amazon. UK worst courier Whistl have / stole it. Every courier can find my address.its on a main road. There are delivery instructions with plus code and pin drop and a description of gate and mailbox colour. 18 days 1 failed attempt. Literally no excuse for being unable to find the address. Incompetent beyond belief and no customer service.
Just hobbled downstairs as am not good, and doorbell rang, only to have parcel rammed through letterbox partially and driver had vanished ! Not impressed, and tracking still states tomorrow delivery !
Was meant to receive a book delivery. Didnt come in time. Looking at all the bad reviews I really dont know why people use them they're c**p!
Such a rubbish company. I used this company 3 times and it never arrived within the time it promised. It’s hardly to believe that it took 10 days to deliver something to central London from Cambridge. It’s just a joke
I was waiting on an order on Amazon, and on the 27th of Jan it showed it was going to be delivered by 8pm, it never came. I then came to this website and saw all the bad reviews and thought I wasn't going to get it. I finally found the tracking order saying my order was handed to royal mail. I still had doubts I was going to get, but the next day my order came with royal mail. It still came in the expected time frame, so I'm happy
I ordered an item on 16th January, I tried to track the parcel but it only showed that it been collected from the seller. I contacted the seller on 26th as it had still not arrived, they investigated and said the parcel had not been scanned since leaving their warehouse so presumed it was lost in transit. They have just dispatched a replacement, I hope this one arrives, I don't think I would use this courier myself.
Parcel meant to be delivered 26-30th January. I arrive home today (24th) to find my parcel has been dropped blindly over the top of my 6ft gate. Good job it wasn't anything breakable. The tracking ID was H00I8A0019599129
I ordered something of amazon about a week ago or so and my parcel arrived but it still says that it is dispatched and arriving at 8pm tonight. It doesn’t make sense really and i suddenly get a scam message from “dpd uk” at 9:30 or so in the morning saying that i have a parcel arriving at a specific time or they will get a new driver “kryzstof” to order or i could either click the link. Which i did not click the link and blocked the scammer through SMS. It’s all seems very weird to me so will not consider using this delivery service again. Tracking info provided by musicMagpie Delivery by Whistl Group Tracking ID- L10023111026054020 I tried to contact the seller but they have a bot so it’s really useless. I am extremely worried and angry that my bank details could be effected in this way?! Update (7th February 2023)- Still receiving ‘dpd uk’ messages about collecting a suspicious parcel from my nearest post office even after being blocked.

Mar 14,2023I don't understand what it is that Whistl are actually paid by companies to do, other than hold our paid for goods hostage for random periods of time before finally allowing Royal Mail to deliver them. I placed an order nearly a week ago and the item has been sitting in the depot (according to tracking) 5 full days with no sign of movement. Utterly pointless and incredibly frustrating.
