I received a parcel via Whistl yesterday, so I suppose I'm luckier than most of their victims. But I am a victim too. I'm a pensioner with severe arthritis, and I foolishly bought a computer chair from Amazon. It was despatched via Whistl. It is due on Thursday this week, but it came yesterday. With any other delivery company that would have been a good thing, but... I live on the 8th floor of a block of flats. The Whistl courier got into the building without ringing my intercom, and he dumped the parcel in the middle of the lift lobby. Just left it there, 2 days early, 8 floors down, and he / she didn't contact me by intercom, phone, e-mail, or text to tell me it was there - and sadly, my crystal ball is broken. I was lucky that a kindly workman saw it being delivered and contacted me by ringing my intercom when he was leaving for the day 45 minutes after it was delivered. He waited for me to go down, and when I struggled to move the box he got it into the lift for me. When I got it into the flat I checked the tracking. It was at this point 50 minutes after it was first dumped in the lobby, and the tracking said 'out for delivery'. Not 'delivered'. So even if I'd known it was arriving 2 days early, I would have had no way of knowing it had actually been delivered - I mean, 'dumped' - 8 floors down in the lobby. Anyone could have stolen that parcel! What the HELL is wrong with Whistl? I have never known such incompetence from a delivery company before. How is a company with 81% of its reviewing customers giving them the lowest rating possible - and wishing they could give zero - doing still in business anyway? Judging by the reviews, Whistl appear more like a bunch of scammers rather than a reputable company. As with everyone else who have reviewed before me, if I could have given a zero rating - or less, like minus a million - I would have. In future, before I buy from Amazon I will check with the seller to see who the courier will be - and if it's Whistl, I won't be making the purchase.

Like so many reviews I come across of WHISTL, I have a bad experience with them. I bought a book and WHISTL were used as the courier. Tracking stated that it had been delivered, BUT IT HAD NOT! Ended up contacting the retailer who immediately has issued a refund. I've ordered from another supplier as WHISTL cannot be trusted so no point re-ordering from same supplier. I hope to god that this other supplier doesn't use this awful delivery company as I have serious doubts that I'd receive it; largely based on the uncannily high number of complaints about them. I feel sorry for suppliers as they must loose a lot of revenue due to goods going, 'missing in the post'!

Sorry 1 star is 1 star too many - should be a minus 5 - held my order in their depot for days and days ...... and still not delivered - have emailed them and the company I purchased from .... waiting to see if either can be bothered to reply???? Either way ordered on VISA credit card so won't be paying - but happy to follow up with name and shame of the company how thinks its good idea to use Whistl - watch this space !!!!

This company has to be stopped and be accountable for all the damages after reading these reviews. They have zero responsibility towards customers... My package is with them since 21st November with no update until today L12088111000826025

According to online tracking, my book has been at the depot since 9/11/22 (25 days as of 24/11/22). They do not communicate with buyers, only sellers. I would suggest that, as manly others reviews seem to indicate that I am part of an ever increasing number of people in a similar predicament, they could improve the service by actually delivering these items sometime soon as their warehouse must be filling up rapidly. If they are experiencing staffing problems why are they still accepting parcels and if not, why the massive hold ups? I have had to give up and order the book from another seller; I just hope the other seller doesn't use Whistl.

Waiting for a book to be delivered from a Amazon. I've had to request a refund as it hasn't turned up. Tracking information is useless as all it tells me is the package has been collected. Either they've lost it or someone there is opening and keeping what they like!

What on earth does deliveryscheduled mean on your tracking?? If it means attempted then its a lie because I've been home the 7 or 8 times it says it!! No calling card, no left in safe place, nothing! Here's the thing, if the driver went to the wrong address on the first attempt and its the same driver he'll continue going there. What if its an empty house?? I've ordered from this seller before and delivery was next day...they use whistl and its now a week overdue (an essential home improvement item, holding up work) couriers like this are so frustrating for sellers too as they will have to resend at their expense or refund.

Another customer whose parcel of 3 books was supposedly delivered on 16th. No sign of it. Looked everywhere. I was in at the time the parcel was supposedly delivered and can confirm noone tried at that time. No sure why this company employs such awful delivery people. Where are all these parcels going to?

This company doesn't even deserve one stay and they make Evri look like saints . Ordered a package from Amazon and whistl took responsibility to deliver,roll on to the 7,11,22 and it's been sitting in there warehouse since with no updates at all and no contact I would highly recommend everyone to avoid these thieves and report to trading as I have so let get another useless fake money grabbing company gone

I placed an order with Amazon, then found out that Whistl were delivering it, I’d never heard of this courier before so checked them out only to find these awful reviews! I assumed my parcel wouldn’t turn up as the tracking hadn’t changed from ‘at delivery depo’ and was due to be delivered that day, then later on, I refreshed my page and the tracking had changed to ‘out for delivery’ I was shocked…and then about an hour later, my parcel arrived! He knocked the door and put the parcel on my door step and waited until I came to the door, had a little chat with him, seemed very nice and then he wished me a good day and went. The box the parcel arrived in was in good condition and not bashed up or anything either. So all in all, I’ve had a good experience with this courier, I guess I must have been lucky.

Whistl teamed up with Evri and exactly the disaster you’d expect happened. After sitting on the parcel for days, I got an email at 11:20 to say the parcel would be delivered 11:00-13:00. It wasn’t and the next email said they had tried to deliver it 3 times and it was going back to sender. Gave Whistl the tracking number and they pulled the data protection card, refused to give me any information and said I had to go back to the seller - who of course take no part in the delivery. Useless

Apparently my parcel been delivered????? Full cctv on premises, no one even attempted to deliver , terrible , so where is it ????? As no one seems to know , why use these companies to deliver your items when there rating is this poor 🤷🏼‍♀️

The driver of Van 95 consistently delivers and leaves parcels for other people in random places at my address, including my tool shed, green house and door step. He - She - It are either stupid, or simply lazy. Whistle I am not here to deliver your parcels and in future I will simple leave them on the side of the road. Most recent COU-PNET Van 95 drop 89 C-Round 7710 SN13 area.

Similar situation to other reviewers. Ordered a book from Amazon nearly 4 weeks ago and am still waiting for it. The tracking for Whistl has not been updated for 3 weeks. The Whistl website is unhelpful and lacking information for people like myself who are trying to locate where their missing item is!

Parcel was dispatched within 24 hrs as advertised by Blackwells and when checking the tracking it has now been sat in the Whistl delivery depot for 9 days. No customer service contact available to answer for a dreadful service and no idea when/if it will be delivered. Sure this will effect Blackwells online sales in the future.

My parcel have said awaiting collection for a few days now, I’ve received no further update. These were two books, I expected to have on Monday but have still yet to arrive. I can’t see a way to contact the delivery company, I’m hoping they come soon, if not I’m out almost 30 pounds

Order something on Amazon and unfortunatly they were the Package courier, item has been dispached very early but it then stayed in the depot for 2 week, it's still there and I'm still waiting. Ofcourse no way to contact them or get info. You might think it's the bad time but order something else a week later where Royal Mail was taking care of the delivery and it arrived in 5 days.
