Jan 23,2025The firewood is great quality, cut to the right size and extremely well packed, but we were very impressed with the new delivery driver. He was cheerful, obliging and competent, so he manoeuvred the crate into our garage properly. Didn't get stuck like previous times.

Jan 22,2025Missed delivery date despite written assurance. So had to make alternative plans for next day. I’ve given 3 stars as the birch they delivered burns very well so not completely bad.

Jan 22,2025Everything was OK until the day of delivery. I had a scheduled 2 hour slot 9.14 to 11.14 (very precise). After two telephone calls the wood arrived at 3.00ish. It was being delivered in a much smaller vehicle than I have previously experienced and it turned out that the hydraulic ramp on the vehicle was too small as the whole load went crashing onto the road!! So there was me at 81 and the driver, scrabbling around picking the logs up and taking them onto my property. A good 40 minutes of unexpected exercise! It wasn't ideal! The wood itself was as expected. Good size and dry.

Jan 22,2025First time we ordered we had no problems at all and the product we received was what we expected. The second order, they sent one pellet of the wrong stuff and the other pallet was what we ordered. But little did we know they had changed the pellets without us knowing. Going from a lovely light coloured wood pellets to a really dark pellet. No warming of the change, wasn't really helpful, had to keep chasing for a reply. Managed to send the pellets back but had to pay £40. Would never order again.

Jan 21,2025White Horse Energy - promote their non approved A1 pellets for biomass use. For vaccum feed biomass boilers they are not suitable! I have 6mm pellets up to 80mm long that block the 50mm feed pipes constantly! I have spoken to them, I have sent pictures as well as bits of concrete being in the bags, they do not want to know! I even wrote to the MD, who has never responded! not a good experiance and company to deal with. Avoid them if you can!

Jan 21,2025White Horse Energy's kiln-dried Birch logs burn very well and give out a lot of heat. Good price, and friendly, helpful delivery man placed the crate in our garage exactly as we asked. Great service!
