Apr 10,2025Well I’ve used Whitehorse for years great products. But they only sell their wood pellets in 50 bag pallets or 65 bag pallets. Sadly there new distribution partners Fortec are unable to deliver 50 bag pallet’s to restricted access addresses which mine is. Fortec have 18 ton trucks - too big for the narrow lanes ! Fortec have 7.5 ton trucks who’s tail gates are too weak to enable delivery of 50 bag pallets ! So Fortec were obliged to split my delivery onto 2 pallets to enable safe delivery. So how going forward hie am I able to order 50 bags on a restricted access truck ??? Without inconveniencing the delivery group Fortec who again at their cost need to split the order. It’s taken a week from the given delivery date to the actual delivery of my consignment.

Apr 08,2025First rate product only problem was the pallet was rubbish smashed on the middle causing loss of pellets aprox two bags lost total of five badley damaged bags on the lower level price is very competative delivery driver was great and said it appered that the forklift had damaged the lower bags.

Apr 07,2025The wood was delivered very promptly (sooner than initially indicated) and was well packed. The delivery driver was very helpful and put the pallet exactly where I wanted it inside our garage, ready for me to unload it. This is the second time I have used White Horse Energy for my wood and I would certainly recommend them.

Apr 04,2025I am a returning customer, because the previous service was excellent. The new management or company is unbelievably bad, taking no responsibility for 20% of the logs, which can be of another type of wood or size. Nor taking responsibility for the condition of the delivery. Which in this case was by a 30 ton articulated wagon, for a domestic residence is insane.

Apr 04,2025The pellets I have purchased have been great, the price is great but I can’t say the delivery system works. At check out a page came up giving me a choice of delivery days. Standard delivery no cost 4th of April, a day earlier £5; two days earlier a bit more. I selected the no cost option for the 4th of April and booked a day off accordingly. Today I got a phone call from the delivery firm wanting to make the delivery. During the call the driver told me I was not the first person today that had booked for the 4th. I then received a message from Whitehorse Energy telling me if the delivery was not made today ( 3rd of April) I would be charged a redelivery charge of £32 per pallet. I can’t say I’m impressed by this. Now I did see an email come in with an invoice but having selected a specific delivery date I didn’t look it over, why would I? Apparently it states on the invoice what the delivery date was going to be. Why would that be different to the date I selected? I’m sure loosing me as a customer won’t bother Whitehorse Energy in the slightest, but the delivery issues are really not worth the bother of dealing with them.
