Nov 15,2024We have in the past ordered pallets of wood from White Horse, but will not in future, after having a full pallet delivered on the wrong date and half a mile away from us, blocking someone's drive, we told the driver that it was the wrong location and he said he couldn't bring the pallet to us. When I complained, the response was that they would send a guy to pick up the pallet the following day and bring to us and even though the mistakes were not ours they wanted to charge us an extra £25. A driver was sent the following day, (the driver i couldn't praise enough, he went above and beyond) unfortunately he was an older chap on his own, in a small van that couldn't lift the pallet as it was too heavey, between the both of us we unloaded the pallet onto the van and transferred loose. Definitely avoid and will find a more professional company.

Nov 15,2024This company is great for wood pellets. Weve been using them for more than 10 years. We had a slight hiccough with our last order as the pallet was old and broken so it fractured and tipped our tonne of 15kg pellets in the road. But usually everything is smooth and swift.

Nov 14,2024After many years using a log suppler in Yorkshire and having been increasingly disappointed by the declining size and quality of their logs i decided to try a different supplier this year...What an eyeopener, from start to finish the process was faultless. I ordered a Max pallet of ash containing 3.34 cu mtrs, 3 days later it was delivered (no extra delivery charge) the wood is brilliant and the pallet has produced more than enough kindling for the season.

Nov 12,2024I have bought a pallet of unbranded wood pellets from this company twice now, within the past few weeks. I was that happy the first time round that I ordered a second lot. I am very happy with the price. The second time I had received an email from White Horse Energy reminding me that the prices would go up for winter and I managed to order before this, saving me £60. I am unable to give information about how well the pellets burn as I have not yet used them for this (they look perfectly normal and dense to me), but I want to praise this company. I phoned them twice for advice regarding the delivery, and the Customer Service agent was helpful and friendly. The telephone was answered quickly. They gave me a date for the delivery. Both times they used a good delivery service. The drivers of the 18 ton vehicle were excellent on both occasions. They phoned me about 15 minutes prior to arriving, and both drivers helped me to find a good spot where to deposit the pallet. I will definitely order again from White Horse Energy.

Nov 11,2024Great product, pity about the transport. I've said a few times not to put a full load all on one pallet. The plastic wrap lets it sway and damage bags. The lorry driver doesn't have a tailgate that can handle much more than 450kg.
