Feb 03,2021I was purchasing from abroad, naturally having some concerns. In fact the whole process went smoothly. Pre-programmed hearing aid set (Phonak Paradise P90-RT) was delivered within few days. Setting out of the box was OK compared to my experience of testing few different hearing aids before adjusted to my hearing loss characteristics. Highly recommend Wholsalehearing as reliable source.

Jan 18,2021I am very very happy with the Phonak Paradise aids and tv connector that you supplied. Your personal help in setting them up was especially useful. I have had 3 pairs of expensive aids before but can now hear much more clearly than with any of the others. Being able to send music from my phone direct to my aids is wonderful. The quality of sound compared with the Bernathon aids, costing £1500 more, is breath-taking. I can now hear lyrics not heard since 1973. Whilst I cannot hear every word of all tv programs, I can hear more than ever before. Thankyou so much for your great service, keep up the good work

Dec 20,2020I had been using Resound Danalogic hearing aids provided by the NHS for several years but was finding them unsatisfactory in noisy places such as bars and restaurants and was better off switching them off. They were pre-set at a fixed volume and did not have bluetooth to connect to a mobile phone app. The NHS agreed to upgrade the hearing aids to a bluetooth enabled pair. However, shortly before my appointment I noticed that Wholesale Hearing had a 20% off Black Friday sale with prices way below those which my local hearing centre were quoting. This meant that i could afford a pair of top of the range Phonak Paradise P90's which i clearly wasn't going to get on the NHS! Initially I had concerns that, unlike the NHS or my local audiologists, Wholesale Hearing would not be providing a "live" consultation or "real ear measurement" which I had read on the web was essential. However the reviews were re-assuring so I decided to go ahead on the basis that if the worst came to the worst and Wholesale Hearing were unable to successfully tweak the settings to my satisfaction online then my local audiologists could probably provide a live consultation to resolve any issues. I need not have worried as everything went smoothly. Firstly I went to Boots for a free hearing test which they were happy to provide even though i made it clear that i would be buying the hearing aids elsewhere. The audiologist at their Weston Super mare branch was excellent and she was able to show me a pair of P90's and explain controls, charging etc. I then e mailed the Boots audiogram to Ross at Wholesale Hearing with a completed health questionnaire and about 5 days later received the P90's in the post set up in accordance with my Boots hearing test. These were a huge improvement on my old hearing aids but it was apparent that the default volume was set a little high and was creating feedback, particularly on the right side. This was easily resolved by my Wholesale Hearing audiologist, Martin at a half hour online consultation at no extra charge. I have to say that I have been very impressed with the service provided by Wholesale Hearing throughout the experience. A week later I am generally happy with the P90's and would summarise my (mainly positive) thoughts as follows:- 1. The P90's are much smaller than i expected - about half the size of my Danalogics. They fit comfortably, can barely be noticed and are much less prone to being ripped out of my ears when i remove my Covid mask! 2. The bluetooth connection to my Samsung A71 phone is stable and receiving mobile calls directly into my ear is excellent. 3. Sound quality for calls and music is far better than i had expected. 4. A drawback with the Phonak app is that when using a custom setting this reverts back to the default autosense setting after switching the phone off or simply after receiving a call. I understand that there is going to be a fix for this in the near future. 5. I find the P90's a great help when watching TV, even without the optional TV connector box and my wife can now watch at normal volume! Being able to adjust settings on the app such as treble, noise reduction and speech focus is useful here. 6. I used the P90's in a restaurant for the first time today and didnt find the restaurant setting on the app particularly helpful. I sat opposite my wife and was able to hear her clearly but the general "hubbub" behind me did not seem to be reduced. Indeed there seemed to be little difference between the restaurant setting and the default autosense setting. 7. My general impression (but it is early days) is that my own custom settings, particularly for watching TV, seem more effective than the settings pre-loaded on the app. 8. Charging the devices is very straightforward. I put them on charge overnight, together with my mobile and there is more than enough juice to last the next day. Overall a very positive experience with both the Phonak Paradise P90's and the supplier, Wholesale Hearing and I would thoroughly recommend both.

Dec 18,2020I was asked by my mother to help her purchase new hearing aids as she had an extremely bad experience with an audiologist. She was given antiquated aids and charged an extortionate amount of money. I found Wholesale Hearing and I can only say that their service to date has been fantastic. Ross assisted us in our purchase of new hearing aids for my mother. We selected the Phonak Paradise 90 model. They have proved to be a great success. Wholesale Hearing's price was very competitive and I would urge anyone considering using their services to make a purchase.

I enjoyed the fact that I was able to choose what I wanted without the sales pitch, however they were available whenever I needed a question answered. I received my hearing aid quickly with a helpful instruction sheet on how to get the hearing aid setup and working for me. They followed up with me a few days after receiving my hearing aid to see how I was getting on and to see if I needed a hand with anything. This was appreciated and I felt like the team at wholesale hearing genuinely care that the hearing solution works well for the customer. Thank you the whole team at wholesale hearing!

Dec 08,2020About 2 months ago I ordered 2 Phonak Paradise P90 hearing aids from Wholesalehearing.co.uk After much research I found their website and noticed that buying from their site was by far the least expensive option. I live in Spain and to buy 2 aids here would have cost more than double. I was worried about buying hearing aids over the internet without having an audiologist fit them in person. I had many questions which were answered in full giving me confidence to order the AIDS. I had a hearing test in my local Opticians and sent the results to Wholesalehearing. They used this hearing test to do "an approximate" set up of the aids. With some easy additional information they arrived ready for me to use. Then I spent about a month getting used to using them. Wow what a difference, my brain was a bit overwhelmed with the amount that I could suddenly hear. After the first month I had an online consultation with the audiologist from Wholesalehearing. The Phonak aids work via an app on your phone and the audiologist can see how much you have used them and he can also do a new hearing test with the aids in, so he can make minor adjustments. After this session I found everying was just perfect. I use my aids everyday. They connect via Bluetooth to all of my devices and I can answer and talk on the phone via the aids. Very convenient. All in all, Wholesalehearing have been very helpful, professional and on the ball. They know their stuff. If you are undecided about buying hearing aids online I would 100% recommend this company. Also, if you think you can continue to manage without aids, think again! I can now hear so much more. With everyone wearing masks my coping strategy of lip reading no longer works. My hearing aids are great.
