Mar 17,2023Lets start off by saying this is the worst insurance ever !! To start off I am a college student and while doing some work I spilled water on laptop. So this is my fault I did not read the policy carefully about the 30-days waiting period. Prior to that I filed 2 claims and both were denied because it was during my 30 days. I decided to wait after my 30 days, which ended March 6th, 2023. I filed the claim March 8th and I was told my claim is pending. WORTH AVE IS ADVERTISING THAT CLAIMS TAKE 1-2 BUSINESS DAYS. Well I waited 5 business days because I did not recieve any emails or calls from my claim adjuster. I called her after emailing her, because THEY NEVER RESPOND TO EMAILS, but they ANSWER THE PHONES WITHIN 2 SECONDS. I asked my claim adjuster Jasmine, and asked her why is the claim taking so long and she basically said they're waiting on me to provide documents, and I asked what documents, she said documents proving that I fixed my repair. I said that's why I filed the claim, and she said due to past denied claims, I am unable to get my repair fixed. I said that doesn't make sense the claims were denied because my 30days waiting period was not over. So tell me how I can use my insurance THAT I AM PAYING FOR WITHOUT GETTING DENIED BECAUSE OF MY POLICY WAS NOT IN EFFECTIVE AT THE TIME. I reach out to them and asked them to cancel my policy, because i do want to pay for something I can not use. I reached out customer service to see what they can do. NO ONE OF THE COMPANY REACHED OUT TO ME. WHY IGNORE YOUR CUSTOMERS. I also did check for reviews and I should've listened to ALL THE NEGATIVE ONES BECAUSE IT IS TRUE.

Mar 14,2023I called during the claim center telephone hours, but near their closing time. I talked to Brandon who said that to make a theft claim I had to do it online since he was not trained to take my phone theft claim over the phone. I told him I wanted to purchase insurance on a replacement phone and cancel the policy for the stolen phone; and he said there was a processing fee; and that I could do it online. I asked him to guide me where to go online which he started to do but either hung up on me or the call dropped.

Mar 08,2023My auto renew notice says that you can update your credit card info online (I needed to due to the current card having been hacked and replaced), but there isn't anywhere online to do that, so you have to waste time calling in. Every other insurance company on the planet has a place to update or change credit card information when necessary. You also can't change auto-renew on or off like it says. Also, I've been paying more for an iPhone policy for several years when I have an iPad and clearly my policy states I have an iPad. I've been overpaying for five years, apparently. Worth Ave should have caught that, but I guess the extra money was more important than me getting the right product.

Mar 03,2023Liars and thievery. For personal not business use. They don't care about the little guy only companies with lots to insure. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE OTHERWISE. They have all required documents but refuse to accept them. Google FI does not mail invoices so its all via screen shot from my account. As you can see from the reply they love to point the fingers.

Feb 11,2023If you insure your phone through your mobile phone service provider you’re probably paying somewhere in the area of $200-$250 deductible if you lose it. And then, to add insult to injury, they send you a used phone. Worth Ave charges $75 deductible and they don’t send you a phone. They send you the money for a phone (little hint: ask them to value your phone off of eBay, based on its condition. Not gazelle)

Feb 03,2023This insurance is a big scam. I had a flood claim and they did their best to not fix my computer. I don't recommend this to anyone. Please stay away. Bad experience with claim adjuster Breighdun Baker is not really helpful. Disgusting. I submitted all the papers for the claim and they still asking for the rental car informations like they are covering the car. Its just my laptop insurance Don't waste your money. Big scam insurance.
