Jul 28,2022Honestly such a seamless process. I decided to insure my MacBook with Worth Ave Group because the price was better and offered more coverage than AppleCare. I already have Progressive Renters insurance and Worth Ave is the company they use when signing up for extra electronics coverage. Unfortunately my MacBook accidently fell resulting in a cracked/bent display. I filed my claim online and within a day an agent had emailed me with more info. I had to fill out a sheet with details of my device and had to provide a repair estimate. I took my MacBook to an Apple store and they were able to assess the damage and provide a repair estimate which I sent back to the agent. I was mailed a check for the repair cost minus the $100 for the insurance deductible. I am honestly considering skipping AppleCare when I get my next iPhone and just adding it to my Worth Ave policy. I did read a lot of reviews on Worth Ave and most of the complaints I saw were people who did not follow the steps/rules of the policy. I did reach out to a chat agent on their web site and they were very responsive and helpful with letting me know what date the check was going to be mailed out to me.

Jul 27,2022We had to file a claim when my college student dropped and damaged her Macbook pro. It took less than 5 min to file the claim and within 24 hours Kayla Atchison our adjuster had our claim started and the day I submitted the repair estimate she approved the claim. I have never had an adjuster process something as easy as Kayla Atchiso n made this NOR as QUICKLY! excellent customer service!

Jul 23,2022Do not ever use this company to insure your phone! Filing a claim is like pulling teeth! I've had auto insurance claims and home fire claims that were easier to claim and get paid. I truly think that they just try to sting you along until you give up on collecting and just pay it out of pocket. They say all it takes is "3 easy steps" but they continually ask for more info and then wait for several days to respond each time. It's been about two weeks and I don't feel like I'm any closer to a resolution.

Jul 19,2022I just bought a new MacBook Pro with Apple Care+. The only problem is Apple Care+ has a big gap in their coverage in Canada. There is no provision in the event my MacBook Pro is stolen. I did some searching on Google and found Worth Ave Group. The big benefit to me with their product is the fact that it's real insurance. A warranty can't cover theft but insurance can. With the cost of modern laptops for content creators being over $2000 I realized Apple Care+ alone wasn't enough to protect my investment. Thanks to the Worth Ave Group I now have the peace of mind to take my laptop with me everywhere my work takes me with the knowledge that my investment is protected in the event of theft or other events I hope never happen.

Jul 10,2022Though going through the claim process was long and required follow ups, a big part of the the delay was due to emails going to SPAM and just the nature of the policy requirements. Working with a helpful adjuster did make a difference. Portia Dwyer responded quickly to all my queries and helped me through the process of getting my claim processed.

Jul 29,2022Started my insurance plan with WorthAve. Plan price is reasonable and the things covered seem fair. Primary complaint would be that it doesn't kick in for 30 days after you start it. I had just purchased my phone and had wanted to have it insured. Ended up going camping with $1400 phone that had a policy that wouldn't protect it for 29 more days after i bought my phone. All good otherwise.
