Ich bin seit einem Monat bei Zenmarket und habe über Zenmarket bei Yahoo.jp TCG Karten ersteigert. Zenmarket gibt Empfehlungen ab bei Bietverfahren auf TCG Produkte, dass man vorsichtig sein soll, da Fälschungen verkauft werden. Leider habe ich über einen Verkäufer eine gefälschte Karte gekauft, da er ein falsches Bild auf Yahoo eingestellt hat. Verkäufer bei Yahoo ist es nicht verboten Bilder von anderen Verkäufern zu nutzen – also aufgepasst!! Ich habe Zenmarket direkt kontaktiert. Zenmarket kann nur aktiv werden, wenn eindeutig ein Betrug vorliegt, was hier ja eindeutig der Fall war. Der Verkäufer wurde auf der Zenmarketseite, sowie auf der Yahooseite gesperrt, was ja schon beweist, dass er ein Betrüger ist. Von Seiten Zenmarket wird der Verkäufer kontaktiert und wenn der kooperiert, muss der Artikel zurückgeschickt werden und erst dann wird der Betrag zurückerstattet. (Ich habe mich gefragt welcher Betrüger schon kooperiert, wenn er bewusst gefälschte Produkte anbietet?) Zenmarket hat mir geschrieben, dass ich zusätzlich beweisen muss, dass die Karte gefälscht war. Ich habe 10 Punkte aufgezählt, unter anderem war auf dem Etikett der bewerteten Karte (Beckett) ein falscher Kartennahme und eine falsche Bewertungsnummer. Des Weiteren habe ich klare Indizien (10 Punkte!!) aufgelistet, dass der Verkäufer betrogen hat und mir ein falsches Produkt verkauft hat. Ich habe detailgenau anhand von Bildern beschrieben, welche Punkte am Produkt gefälscht sind. Nach etlichen Nachrichten und viel hin und her kam von Zenmarket dass sie ein Proxycervice sind und keinen Käuferschutz anbietet, sondern nur vermitteln. Zitat: Wir kaufen alle Produkte, die unsere Kunden über japanische Onlineshops oder Yahoo Auctions kaufen. Wir selbst haben keinerlei Einfluss auf die einzelnen Verkäufer und müssen und grundsätzlich an die Richtlinien der einzelnen Plattformen halten. Von Seiten Yahoo kam, dass ich über einen Experten die Karte begutachten muss, um zu beweisen, dass sie gefälscht ist. (Der falsche Name, die falsche Nummer, das Kartonetikett, sowie viele weitere klare Indizien reichen nicht!) Dies ist mit zusätzlichem Zeitaufwand und Kosten verbunden, obwohl es keine Diskussionen geben sollte, da die Sachlage ganz klar ist! Zenmarket hat zusätzlich geschrieben, dass jedes Produkt beim Verpacken mit dem Käuferbild abgeglichen wird. Wenn nur jemand kurz auf die Karte geschaut hätte, wäre sofort aufgefallen, dass der Name sowie die Nummer falsch ist. Ich habe Zenmarket eine einvernehmliche Lösung vorgeschlagen (Sie übernehmen einen Teil des entstandenen Schadens – Zenmarketgebühren/Versand/Zollkosten), da auch von ihrer Seite Fehler passiert sind. (Kontrolle des Produkts beim Verpacken) Die Antwort war: In diesem Fall ist leider keine weitere Korrespondenz möglich, wenn Sie nicht in der Lage sind, uns die folgenden Informationen mitzuteilen. Zusammenfassend: Man ist als Käufer schutzlos ausgeliefert und muss einen enormen zusätzlichen Aufwand betreiben, um vielleicht einen Teil des Geldes wieder zu sehen! Ich würde mir gut überlegen über Zenmarket bei Yahoo Produkte zu ersteigern, wenn der Verkäufer nicht hunderte positive Bewertungen hat, da man als Käufer nicht abgesichert ist und ohne Expertenexpertise der Fälschung auf dem gefälschten Produkt sitzen bleibt.
ここアイルランドに住んで20年、100個以上の荷物を日本から送りましたが、今回初めて通関で「書類が不十分又は正しくない」と一方的にZenMarketに返送されました。こちらの追跡結果が「仕分け中」で止まっていたので現地の郵便局に問い合わせて初めて返送されたと分かりました。日本郵便の追跡では「返送」と出てましたが。 また客側で発送料を負担しなければならないのかと半ばパニクりながら問い合わせた所。。。丁寧な説明とZenmarket 側で費用は対処できると言っていただき、今度「発送料を支払う前にインボイスの確認を」とのアドバイスをもらいました。 インボイスの申告名は商品名から自動的に翻訳、分類されるそうです。なので現地の情報を良く知った客側でこの申告名だとヤバいかも。。。と思ったら変更をお願いできます。でも商品名そのまま訳して申告すれば良いというものでは無く、Root (根)やSeed (種)等の言葉は勘違いされる場合もあり、今回はZenMarketの提案で蓮根チップスはFried lotus rootではなくsnackにしました。今回の事で後々のストレスを避ける為にもZenMarket任せにせず客側でも発送料支払い前にインボイスの確認が大事だと思いました。

The customer service chat on zenmarket is exceptional! They will help you check if items are real or potentially a scam. If you’re iffy about an item, always ask them first. They are really kind and the many shipping options are amazing.
I used to use zenmarket services for a few years. All aspects of the service were great in the beginning, i.e. for the first couple of years. Worsening of the service, customer service worsened as of past year and a half. Customer service representatives' replies while were initially only carrying hints of prevarication became blatant lies in the end. For the zenmarket customers, existing and future ones, BEWARE of STONEWALLING; existent and nonexistent reasons for the zenmarket "inability" "due to the JapanPost restrictions" (zenmarket representatives usual confabulated " go - to", most of the times extremely weak if that, excuse) to ship one or another product. I stated "confabulated" for what it is. JapanPost has prohibited items listed on its website and majority of times zenmarket refused to ship items ELIGIBLE for shipping overseas, AVIA/AIR MAIL via JapanPost. Furthermore, some shipments did not arrive in the boxes but wrapped in black plastic wrap. Would have been there a possibility to give "raspberries" instead of the "stars", I would have given zenmarket 10 "raspberries". In their reply they have written "We're constantly working to improve ZenMarket. If you'd be open to it, we'd love to discuss your concerns further and see if there's anything we can do to regain your trust. Please feel free to contact our customer support team directly." <------ this is an outright and blatant lie!! Zenmarket customer service representatives in their email reply write "your message was forwarded to the office in charge", generally. It's nothing but STONEWALLING thereafter!!

Package took a while to arrive, as expected, but, despite its long shipping time, everything arrived in perfect condition. The items were packed safely, but without too much shipping material to affect the shipping cost
It was packed wonderfully and the package came as described! Wonderful service from seller as well as the proxy service and shipping company. Great experience all around, they even sent me an email stating my parcel packing would likely take a bit longer due to the warehouse being short staffed. :) The only small complaint I have about it is you need to do your due diligence in making sure a listing is legit and you understand what you’re getting. I didn't use it this time, but if you are skeptical about the condition your package may come in, I recommend using their photo upon arrival to warehouse option as you are pretty much stuck with what you got once it leave their warehouse. The fee for that is only another 500 yen, I think. You can also reach out to the seller through zenmarket if you’re confused about what is being listed and they respond relatively quickly. It’s a proxy service so understandably they also prioritize their customers that are sellers too. Without sellers they don't have a service to provide, so you kind of need to do your own checks and balances. It may feel disappointing to some, but for me it feels like it's just one of those situations in life where you need to depend on yourself a little bit more to make sure you understand everything, but all in all once you understand the buying process and how the website works you should be good. I’m pretty sure there also IS some sort of buyer protection you can add for an extra price as well if not with them then with whatever shipping company you chose. I ended up being out of town when my package came and I was able to change the delivery to a Fedex drop off to be signed for and held until I got back.

Zenmarket is a great website for shopping online in Japan. I have been able to buy all sorts of things from many websites (from larger ones like Yahoo! Auctions, to smaller ones). The fees are a bit on the high side at ¥500 per article, but they also offer a lot of services and discounts. They are the only store I know that allows paying VAT in advance in the EU through IOSS, for instance.
Zen Market employees told me that there would be a customs fee of around twenty percent when my product reaches the country. However, three times the price was requested at customs. I was not informed about this issue. Dr. stated that the shipping fee for the return of the product will be more expensive than the customs fee. He also said that no refunds would be made one week after the product is received. This is not an honest perspective. I don't trust your site.
Easy to use, but if anything goes wrong there is absolutely nothing you can do. Handling and shipping will take longer than the returns period for the shops and Zenmarket won't even leave bad feedback for the seller because they want to "protect their customers". Absolute clown show when it comes to buyer protection. Edit: In response to the Zenmarket message below, pretty words mean nothing without action. Parcel insurance is a good thing, but if you receive a broken item it won't do you any good. And since zenmarket handling and shipping to me takes longer than the marketplace contact time for issues, even if you contact them, they will tell you how sorry they are you had issues but then tell you there is absolutely nothing they can do. They talk the talk, but don't expect any good to come out of it.
