Sep 03,2024Great rental car broker. We just had to remember that most reviews these days are for bad experiences and also ignored the actual providers reviews. Also note that some bad reviews are regarding payments that some people weren't aware of. Zest were very transparent from the start, no hidden charges. Took out their excess waiver as well for further peace of mind. We used Masterkings at Faro Airport and it was faultless. We were seen instantly and within a couple of minutes were in our car which was conveniently parked right behind the desk which is situated in Car Park 4 - NOT where all the other rental providers are. Will definitely use Zest again. Masterkings charge a deposit on the Toll Transponder of 25 EUR. This is returned within 21 days. Also if you're picking up from the airport you will have to pay a 15 EUR charge. This is the airports charge not rental charge. Happy to say that the deposit for the Toll Transponder we didn't use has been refunded within the 21 days advertised.

Sep 03,2024I recommend zest car rental to everyone who wants to have a nice experience when renting a car for holiday or any other reasons. The most important thing is that the final price for the car rental was the price I paid online and wasn't asked at the desk to pay additional insurance costs or any other costs like other companies usually do.

There was a good selection of vehicles and the add-on insurance was competitively priced and a very welcome addition. Zest will definitely be the first place i look at for car hire in the future.

Sep 03,2024I arrived at Girona Airport and went to Thrifty to collect my hire car, it was up graded to an A Class for a low premium which I accepted. The whole process was quick and easy and the car was a pleasure. I returned it at the end of the hire and again all was very quick and efficient. Would definitely use them again.

Sep 03,2024This is the first time we used Zest. We've always used the big name rental companies before. From the time we booked to the time we returned the car, the experience was excellent. We had good communication from Zest as soon as we booked. The car rental booth was very well located and easy to find at Faro airport. The staff at collection were great. Everything was explained really well, better than any other company we have used before. The car was spotlessly clean with no bumps or scratches. A member of staff was ready to check the car back in as soon as we returned it. Excellent value for money. The best deal we could find at Faro. We would definitely use Zest again, and highly recommend them.

Sep 02,2024All went so smoothly! After having the most awful and stressful experience in 2021. I followed the advice of Which? and used Zest. Knowing that they only used companies that had good customer service, I felt comfortable using them. They kept me informed every step of the way. This car hire experience was positive all the way through. Will definitely use Zest again.

Sep 02,2024Zest were really good at providing some great competitive deals and having used them previously felt we were in safe hands and we were. The only thing I felt was not fair was although we paid for the Top UP insurance we still had to outlay an Excess Payment to Hertz when we got there for £699. This made me worried about where we parked the car as it was only 2 weeks old and not a make on it. I think if you pay this Top Up onsite/in country excesses should be waived.

Sep 02,2024Very friendly and helpful staff. They found us a good deal and explained the pitfalls for customers when dealing with foreign car hire companies. Zest also changed our booking on the phone with no fuss after our travel plans altered - it was great to be able to speak to a real person to arrange it direct.
