Sep 01,2024Used zest to buy car hire from ECH at Pisa. Arrived 2.5 hours after the booking window started and told that they had cancelled the booking. Offered exact same package at 4.5x the price to āreactivateā the booking. Zest 24/7 support no help at all.

Aug 31,2024First time renting a car abroad, I didn't know what to expect, I research numerous options of rental providers, but Zest had the best rates and car options, everything was pretty straight forward and when in doubt they are one phone call or email away. I emailed them once and got an answer in less than 6 hours ( emailed them on a Sunday) highly recommend Zest and will be using them in the future

Aug 31,2024I've used zest twice now and found them to be a good company to rent a car from. Prices are reasonable. No issues with the staff etc. But both times I've had issues with the car. The first time the car was damaged. Though this was made clear to us when we picked the car up and it wasn't an issue but it would have been nice to have an unscratched car. The second time the car had no windscreen wiper fluid and the tire pressures were all over the place making the car hard to drive. I would use Zest again.

Aug 28,2024Booking with Zest was easy. The company they suggested for us in Italy was Noleggiare. This was an awful experience. We were slightly delayed but had been told our flights were tracked.We arrived at Noleggegiare just over an hour after landing due to slow passport control. Noleggiare acknowledged they knew our flight had landed but because we failed to arrive at their desk within the hour they had cancelled our booking! It was late at night and we had no option but to rehire with the same company at an additional cost.This was never made clear to us at the time of the booking when I questioned them about delays! Noleggiare were very rude and unhelpful. On returning the car they were adamant we had damaged a wheel rim but thankfully we had taken photos to show the damage was there at time of pick up. No apology . I would not use Noleggiare again and I was very disappointed in the response of Zest.Check how long you have to get to the car hire desk before they cancel you as a no show!

Aug 28,2024Our rental in Portugal was exactly as advertised on Zest's site. The rental required no additional deposit, the car was clean, new, and in excellent condition. We purchased the extra insurance through Zest and there was no pressure from the local rental agency to purchase their insurance. Very easy and smooth transaction with Zest, we will definitely book our rental with them again.

Aug 27,2024We had a big problem at the car hire desk in Munich: I had forgotten my driving license so they said that all they could do was cancel the contract and give us a car on a new contract with my wife's license (& much more expensive). This was shocking but we were stuck with it. I immediately contacted Zest to report what happened. On return to the UK Zest liased with the rental company involved and have now successfully obtained a refund for the original contract. This was very much appreciated and I doubt this would have happened with any other car rental company.

Aug 27,2024Zest car got in touch will all documentation required for my claim. It took about a month to get my money back so all in all pretty good service albeit a bit frustrating in the beginning trying to work out all the documents required for the claim. I would use again.

Aug 24,2024Zest use a car hire company called Green Motion who are the worst car hire company I have ever used. All the other customers who were at the Green Motion office (which is in an industrial estate away from the airport) were having problems with their administrative procedures and there were long delays. It was a stressful and unpleasant experience. The car I was given was old and dented and I was not given any instruction on its features and use.

Sep 01,2024I am always nervous when using a new company but after reading other reviews I decided to give Zest a go for our 3 week car rental in Portugal this summer. Well, I was impressed to say the least. Having picked out the car rental company carefully (collection from a desk at the airport) with LC Rent I paid a small amount to reserve it and the balance about a week before. I also realised that our flight times had been changed so the day before I emailed Zest to ask them to update our collection time. Within 24 hrs I had a reply and the details updated. SO easy and great communication. LC Rent were very good, quick collection, easy to find them and returning the vehicle was excellent too. The staff were helpful and friendly. I have absolutely no complaints at all about the service I received and will certainly be booking with Zest again in the future. The service and communication I received once we returned to the UK was also excellent. Thank you for making hiring a car so easy! š
