Sep 11,2024They are honest as you know what you're paying for. We only take extra insurance to cover ghe underneath of ghe car and wheel damage. The cars are always clean and tidy. Have used them 4 years now.

Sep 10,2024Be very aware of this company. Of course if there are no problems you can say what a great company they are but if things go wrong do not expect their help. Before we took out our car hire I phoned and asked them if their additional insurance would it give me complete comprehensive insurance and they said yes it would as I was concerned about the haggling with the car company once we got to Spain. Lo and behold when we picked up the car the hire company went through zests additional insurance and it didn’t cover everything at all. I phoned and asked for a refund. They said no even though they had give false information. We paid another £220 pounds so plus their £80 insurance was £300. I phoned several times and was promised a phone call back. They have not responded. My advice is to go direct to the car companies as it is cheaper and better and you can negotiate with them. Zest maybe a “great “company if everything is ok but you will not be fully covered if you do have an accident but you will be if you take the insurance out direct with the car hire company in the relevant company They also did the same to my daughter UPDATE: as you can see from the reply absolutely useless company . Please be aware that whatever they tell you you are not fully insured abroad

The car provided exceeded expectation in terms of cleanliness, condition and specification. The return process at Tampa airport was also very straight forward and quick.

The advice from Zest was good and clear, additional options were also clear and costs for added items like extended insurance very reasonable. We were very pleased with the car hire company we selected and overall it was a hassle-free easy process.

Easy booking experience, great price, easy collection, helpful support when I had a minor issue when in third country and easy return. No pressure selling, just helpful, informative direction. Time and time again spot on! Time and time again all spot on, why can’t all services be like this.

Sep 09,2024Booked via Zest who then booked the car via Noleggiare in Brindisi airport, who’s sales tactics are disgraceful and very aggressive to the pint i was almost being shouted at for not taking their upgraded insurance- I had already paid extra for excess insurance at a reasonable price via Zest - Zest - how can you use this company - have you read the google reviews- my experience is very similar to others. Sort it out.

Sep 09,2024Zest has a great service when you are booking and when you try to reach their customer service. The app works well and customer service is responsive. However, it's an utter disappointment when you actually face a real issue. We hired a petrol car in Figari (Corsica) with Hertz through Zest. When we arrived, Hertz said they didn't have any petrol cars left, and gave us an electric instead. (Turns out they never had any petrol cars in stock either way and everyone in Figari has the same issue with Hertz). As a customer of Zest, we tried to resolve this issue with Zest, who acknowledged the problem and told us we'd receive a refund on the price difference but didn't give us any numbers at the point of hire. We proceeded with the hire, trusting Zest would address this issue on our way back. Even though they said they'll follow up right after the end of hire, we never heard back. Afterwards, we reached out to customer service, explained the issue which said they forwarded it to an internal team for further investigation. 50 days pass, and guess what, Zest comes back trying to defend Hertz, and offers us no refund. They claimed the car we hired was "fuel type unspecified", falsifying what they had acknowledged during the time of hire. This claim was entirely incorrect, as we have clearly picked a petrol car (Hertz Figari doesn't even have any electric cars if you try to rent through Zest). We have proven this back with more screenshots and email logs, and never heard back for a month now. We don't even know if they are continuing the investigation, or just closed it without hearing any further remarks from us. It's easy to run a car hire aggregator, and what differentiates you is the customer service and conflict resolution. Zest has failed terribly on this aspect. Hertz Figari is clearly running a scam where they list all petrol cars but their whole car park is only filled with electric cars (which is not even listed!). What's worse is, Zest is rejecting an investigation into this and trying to protect Hertz's scam. You are better off with any of the alternatives that actually protect the customer and doesn't spew the lies of the company right back to you and then ignores you for months.
