Jul 24,2024All the promises in their own terms and conditions of replying in a maximum of 28 days to an issues are totally false. I have emailed them approx. 4/5 times now about an issue I have with a rental in Majorca, I first emailed on 19th June here we are 24th July no response apart from holding emails on all of my correspondence. I don't believe that they deserve to have 5 star reviews.

Jul 24,2024Renting a car from Zest could not have been easier. They brought the car to the hotel where we were staying. The agent went over everything with us before he left. The car was brand new, beautiful and drove like a dream. It was spacious with plenty of room for our suitcases, etc. When it was time to return the car, we simply drove it to our departing airport and a rep from the company met us at the departure terminal. He checked the car out and we were off. Could not have been easier!

Jul 23,2024I recently organised a vehicle through Zest for my holiday in Florida. After comparing various sites, I found Zest the easiest to navigate and, importantly, the most competitively priced. Upon arrival in Florida, we proceeded to Alamo, with whom the booking was made. I had reserved a large car to accommodate my big family but was still concerned about space. However, the staff at Alamo ensured that space was not an issue. Although I can't be certain if I was upgraded, the car provided was incredibly spacious and a high-end model. I was very pleased with Zest's service. I had one query before my trip, which they promptly addressed. I will definitely be using them again.

Jul 23,2024I found Zest Car through Which? Magazine. The idea of a car rental broker was entirely new to me. Brilliant! I was used to being treated unfairly by car rental companies previously and having to pay large amounts for their zero excess fees. This has all changed with Zest Car. The same rental companies offer quotes but you are dealing with them through Zest Car, and their own zero excess fee is excellent value for money. They are only a phone call or email away and are British based. So helpful whenever I have spoken to them. Have booked through Zest Car twice now. The first time Europcar requested I pay an outrageous £900 for a tiny mark on a Mercedes which is covered by the Car Zest policy. Europcar use professional inspector to find damage so they can make more money from you! I had to pay Europcar first and now Orchard (the underwriter for zest car) will pay me back. That’s just going through now. Car Zest put together all the necessary paperwork for the claim, not me, which was fantastic and a huge weight off my mind.

Jul 23,2024I received an email from Zest today crowing about featuring on a TV show about how great they are in comparison to other car hire companies when it comes to being ripped off. I quote: In the segment, presenters XXXXXX XXXXXXX and XXXX XXXXXXX expressed common concerns when it comes to car rental and the extra charges that often come unannounced. XXXXX was quick to reassure them both and mentioned that when booking with Zest, you are booking with "vetted car hire companies" that offer "extra protections" - meaning you won't get hit with any hidden fees or charges! Which? recently released their annual car hire report that awarded us 5 stars in 7 different areas, including "clarity of extra charges" and "ease of opting out of extra charges". We were the only car rental broker to achieve perfect scores in these categories! ABSOLUTE RUBBISH! We were ripped off a few years back and started using Zest to protect ourselves from it happening again - however, it just happened again a few weeks back at Brindisi airport. The company was KEDDY who operate in conjunction with EUROPCAR, despite specifically stating to the girl on the desk we didn't require any extra cover we were charged £91.00 for extra fuel damage. I complained to ZEST who dually replied on the 08/07/24 - sorry but you signed to say you agreed to it. We absolutely did not - we were told we were signing in agreement of a list of existing damage, details of the car itself and consent of personal Data treatment and couldn't take the car until we did. There was a third signature box right under the Data part with a series of codes, that's where you agree by signature to pay whatever they state on the document. That's where they get you, small coded print. ZEST 100% know this, look at their negative reviews! DON'T MAKE CLAIMS ON TV THAT YOU PROTECT CUSTOMERS FROM THIS RACKET WHEN YOU DON'T! Have Zest responded to my reply - No!

Jul 23,2024Zest make car hire very very simple, and somehow very reasonable. Almost instant contact by email & phone, friendly staff for whom nothing is a problem. I changed hire company last week with 12 hours notice and whole thing was sorted out in less than 2 minutes, no stupid admin fees and I got a refund for price difference. Good clear instructions for pickup.
