The Zicasso site starts by asking great questions to help frame the trip, then they connect you with trip planners who can refer back to your previous itineraries to get a better sense of what experiences you like. End result: every day was a treat! I found Zicasso the old fashioned way (their office was around the corner from mine) and boy am I glad. I strongly recommend them for the best travel plans you could ask for!

Dec 08,2022My wife and I initially started planning our trip in 2020 with an October 2021 travel date. Due to Covid and Japan shutting the border we had to postpone. Our travel company worked with us throughout 2021 and 2022, keeping us appraised of the situation and fine tuning our itinerary. Their attention to detail and desire to ensure we got to experience everything we'd discussed was impressive. This included researching and selecting restaurants that would accommodate my wife's gluten intolerance - not a small task in a country that marinades everything in Soy! We visited Tokyo, Kyoto, Onomishi, Miyajima, Hiroshima and Okinawa. All our guides were fantastic tailoring each day to ensure we had the best experience. While each place we visited was unique, we enjoyed the more relaxed feel of Kyoto and the day we spent in Hiroshima Peace Park and museum followed by an oyster lunch was the highlight of our trip. Overall an outstanding trip!

Nov 24,2022Starting on the Zicasso website (per a referral from my sister who has used Zicasso twice with trips to Europe and South America), I first inquired about Tanzania options, but was open to what the experience would be. This would be a trip with my daughter, and we were open to ideas, especially not being familiar with the country. Zicasso put me in touch with our travel expert and from there it was very easy to build our itinerary and customize to our requests and interests. What started as a graduation trip, turned into an experience no words can truly do justice. Our travel expert reached out after my initial interest on Zicasso, and I immediately felt she would provide excellent guidance. My daughter and I were not sure what all we wanted to experience, but that was alright. She took our thoughts and put them in action. After a couple of emails, she crafted an exciting itinerary. From that point, she guided us through all of the details on a 2+ week experience, working with us on every detail. Our trip included safari in Tarangire National Park, climbing Kilimanjaro, and finishing at the beach in Zanzibar. EVERY detail was covered -- her expertise of Africa is second to none. All accommodations she proposed were wonderful: Hamerkop House, Lemala Mpingo Ridge, Machame Route Kilimanjaro (via local tour agency) and the Resort in Zanzibar all hit the nail on the head with hospitality and experience. We experienced so much over 2+ weeks, but never felt overwhelmed. Our itinerary allowed us to be "in the moment" and carve core memories. Some may say this was a once-in-a-lifetime trip, but it planted the seed to a new love of Africa. I can't wait to plan the next adventure!

Each agent developed a tour that took into account our interests and budget. Then it is up to the traveler to pick which agent you bond with. I don’t think you could make a bad choice.

I received comprehensive proposals after speaking with each and was able to choose the agency that provided me exactly what I was looking for. I have used Zicasso 4 times and always found the experience extremely positive. I will be using them again in the near future.

We had a draft plan of where we wanted to go and what we wanted to see, and Zicasso took our draft and turned it into a dream vacation that my wife and I will cherish for a lifetime. We stayed in the highest-quality, boutique-like hotels, had extraordinarily prepared local guides, and the travel components of our itinerary was a mix of trains, rental cars, planes, and personal drivers. Nov 13,2022My husband and I consulted Zicasso for a vacation to the United Arab Emirates and the Seychelles. Within a few hours, we were contacted by two travel agencies. From the first conversation with both agencies, it was obvious that they were both very experienced in all aspects of the countries. They were also interested in ensuring that we enjoyed the visits. They asked us details about ourselves including what type of activities we liked and what were our interests. They then used this information to suggest places to visit, and activities that we could do during our trip. They also discussed accommodations with us, giving us choices based on our budget. We eventually chose one travel agency to move forward with details, mainly because that agency seemed to have more details about the Seychelles at their fingertips. When we arrived, the vacation was superbly organized. We were given correct and detailed instructions regarding meeting our contacts. Our contacts were present and on time and our hotel accommodations were superb. The hotels were expecting us and had our preferences. Someone from the agency called us a few hours after our arrival to confirm that our accommodations were as expected. Each activity went flawlessly and was exactly as was described. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. We had a long layover on the way back and the agency was kind enough to arrange a short tour during that time. It was awesome!! It was so nice to just have to concentrate on having a good time since everything was so perfectly planned. I have used Zicasso before and they have never failed to deliver superb customer service. They certainly did so again with this latest trip.

Dec 16,2022Overall, we were very pleased with the travel company and the itinerary developed for us. Our in-country travel agent actually met us as our hotel in Madrid when we arrived and provided constant reminders of our itinerary and contact information for our drivers via WhatsApp. We especially liked that Zicasso worked with local tour companies to customize our experience. We loved our hotels; wine tasting at Pago de Carraovejas and lunch at Ambivium; pintxos in San Sebastian; the trip to Basque country (including France); purchasing provisions at the market and cooking dinner at the Gastronomical Society in San Sebastian; our tour guide for Montserrat, Penedes, and Priorat; and our wine tasting in Priorat. An overall wonderful experience!
