Sometime ago: the engineers were allowed to go the extra mile, when I succumbed to limitations of my technical understanding. In the last year or so, I suspect that 'go the extra mile' has been curtailed by someone senior. In fact, if you check your email trails, you'll see I had a long conversation with someone senior about this. I must stress it wasn't any of the engineers, they are all great. The senior person went to enjoyable smug sounding length to tell me that because I didn't have much service with 34sp, then they simply cant afford to help me...get the 34sp service working! He suggested I buy technical help (easy to say when you have so many customers as 34sp). Again I must stress it wasn't any of the engineers. I was more than happy to tell people about 34sp before 'smart mouth' gave me a smug self satisfying dressing down over the phone (most probably in ear shot of his colleagues) of how inadequate I was not to be able to figure out stuff: now I think about it recommending 34sp...sad isn't it. And lastly, I must stress, all the engineers, customer service guys are great at 34sp: but the smug, smart mouth senior, who made me feel inadequate should think hard that someone who has several domains, doesn't pester, is a relatively easy customer to satisfy, might be suggesting that - 34 sp ask if folk if they any help: perhaps suggesting a nominal fee for more difficult tasks...but my platform was MIcrosoft 365 - tell people that their dns record will most probably need adjusting (I wasn't told) - go the extra mile...because someone else will, when its easier to switch - might just have enough fire left in his/her belly to remember and write this stuff. PS A personal response (not an automated one) to this post, would tell me that things are changing at 34sp PPS The 4 stars are for the engineers

I could not recommend or rate 34sp.com highly enough. Five stars just isn't enough. I have been with them for almost 10 years now and the service is outstanding. From the reliability of the servers through to the support which is second to none. There is no request or issue that is too much for them.

As a small community website our choice of ISP was crucial. With 34SP we found the right one. They have pretty much looked after everything and when it was things we had to do ourselves they were there in the background offering support. Problems were few but when they raised their heads then I was impressed by 34SP's support team being prepared to go the extra mile and resolve issues (even if it was our fault sometimes). I also like the way that issues were escalated to the right person in the company rather than languishing in somebody's queue. The team at 34SP are personable and approachable so one by one you get to know them, what a bonus! So far it's all been done by tickets and if you respond by e-mail then your ticket gets updated so there's not need to keep reiterating a problem. Ours is a Wordpress website, not very big but busy enough for a very small rural community. It is core to our communications as our population is spread over a wider geographical area. 34SP have an excellent understanding of Wordpress. Given that fact I am well pleased we went with 34SP .

Jun 25,2017So when I first started using 34SP you could call them and after about two rings a person with a name would answer the phone. They were unfailingly helpful. Now that I've been using 34SP long enough for it to grow exponentially I somehow still get the same levels of service. I am not a big business. Invariably when I call it's something dumb I've done. But there they are. Always helpful. Always available. And I've never had an outage. What isn't there to like?
