I have been happy with the service I get with AGL.
Response and support over a few years now with developing a home solar panel to start with, then expand, and most recently add battery storage which will, in the fullness of time, become part of a VPP project promoted by AGL. Not always straight forward, but whenever AGL stumbled they were quick ti accept responsibility and take remedial action reflecting their overall responsibility. There are a few things to do, mainly replacing gas hot water and cooktop, and perhaps an upgrade to the existing old and not quite adequate heat pump air conditioning installation - using the Saul Griffith electrify everything principles. When the time and products are on offer at the right price I'll be looking at an electric car with the capacity to operate EV to Grid via the then existing home solar and battery setup. I fully expect that by then AGL will be offering plans for purchase of EV by customers, not unlike their battery plan.

i contacted agl one week to have all bills sent to my email as you never know when aust. post will come as i have not been receiving bills i know are due. i had explained what i wanted, i have two accounts with you, one account was fixed , but i had to ring again the next week and was very pleased as my questions where all sorted and explained \. i have been with agl many years and look forward to staying with you. thank you.

Received excellent professional service.
My last gas bill I inadvertently paid the incorrect amount. Down the track I received a reminder bill for a different amount, looked back in my bank account and realized I had under paid my discounted invoice by the due date. I was upset as I always pay all my bills on time but when I checked what I had paid it was short of the discount total. I immediately paid what they had asked on the overdue invoice. I knew this was a genuine error by me so contacted AGL by phone and spoke with a customer service officer. He listened to my account of what had happened and asked me to hold on while he spoke to his supervisor. He came back to me in no time at all and advised me that I would get a credit to my account which I could use to reduce the cost of my next invoice. I was so impressed by the fact that they could see what had actually happened and were happy to give me a credit without a lot of angst. I appreciated the excellent customer service and consideration by AGL. Jennifer

Easy to sign up on line, questions asked were answered fast. Account was opened and the communication thru the whole process was terrific, they let me know where the application was the whole time.
