I ordered a text and talk sim. Was sent pay as you go. Customer services activated it. They were helpful But I can't get on the app as it says I don't have a pay monthly sim. So rubbish really!
Totally rubbish when using roaming in rotterdam and Amsterdam. I followed all the prompt from my table recognised I was in Rotterdam and that was is Useless I will ammend my comments at the end of January as I am of to Paris see how it works there

I recently paid Β£4 for my first payment on my new Asda sim card, I then went to check my balance and it clearly said you have no credit and I should top it up, I then called customer service to inform them of my problem, she asked me if I was happy with the service and I said no, she then offered me a full refund which I still have not received, so that's my first and last time I will use Asda mobile. Bye the way I still shop with Asda, iam about to collect my Christmas order tomorrow.
Requested number transfer to asda, it's been 3 weeks and still no transfer. Annoying because I am still paying for the contract when I should have left within 1 working day. Not a good team to contact as they don't help.
I took out an Asda sim only plan last week, on Tuesday 17th December I called your customer service team to give them my PAC code to port my number to Asda. It's now Friday and I have called everyday to ask why my port has not happened only to be told it would happen that evening, this is terrible service. It's been 3 days so far and the port has not happened. A port should happen within 24hrs of me giving you my PAC code. I am now paying for two contracts. Is someone actually going to help me port my number
You can always get to talk to there advisers on the phone and they answer the phone you are never waiting a long time to talk to them and the call centre staff are very helpfull
I ordered a SIM so that I can top up on demand. It never arrived so I contacted ASDA Mobile support. It took them 7 days to respond, by which time I had given up and ordered a SIM from Lebara. I am now up and running with my Lebara SIM and the replacement ASDA Mobile one still hasn't arrived. Even if the original SIM got lost/stolen in the post, I have no sense that ASDA Mobile was aware (or cares). If it was stolen, is someone using it linked to my name and address? ASDA Mobile didn't reply to that part of my question and it remains a concern. ASDA, if you're reading this, I still want that concern addressed please.
On the 19/12/2024 whilst on holiday in spain I had a txt stating my number was being barred due to irregular activity. I called the helpline who instructed me to call a number to request unbarring my number. First thing on the 20/12/2024 this was done by ASDA and all is good can't fault the service.
I was not expecting VAT to be added to the price. When I had to give Date of Birth in application process, it was difficult, and took a long time to use the calendar. The App is not easy to access, and to find out about your data usage.

I'm now eleven days without a phone. Unable to log in to my online banking or website as these all require you to have a phone for two part verification. No internet so struggled with accessing things like train tickets and emails out of the house as no access to wifi. It's been a total nightmare that only continues. The stress, wasted hours on the phone and the total inconvenient have not been worth the cheap price that I am yet to benefit from as it's still not sorted. It has been a series of errors on their part that only continues.
Value data, texts and calls. Roaming in EU, no price rises. Whatβs not to like?

Asda mobile are a terrible network to deal with. I left there services because they were changing my username and passwords constantly, losing credit unexpectedly, and when I requested a PAC code, they gave me it no problem, however my new network said that Asda mobile are not releasing all the info to my new provider. I then called Asda mobile and when I did the rep I spoke to was rude, arrogant and denied everything. Just before he hung up I heard him say to another colleague calling me a stupid b*******. My new network are still saying that after now ten days the info they need to port my number in has still not been received by Asda mobile. I've now escalated this to ofcom and made an official complaint. I've not been able to use my new networks services because of this for ten days now. Despite them emailing Asda to release the info needed. Shocking disgusting service from Asda mobile and I recommend anyone not to use them because they cause loads of problems when trying to port out.
