Oct 25,2024My second purchase from Asda tyres. I always bought Michelin tyres from them. Not long ago I learned that you can check the manufacture date on the tyres. So after having fitted my tyres I checked to find one tyre is manufactured 23rd week of 2024 and the other is 31st of 2023. Granted in reality this probably means nothing but if you are paying a premium for Michelin Primacy 4 tyres and getting tyres that were manufactured in different years, you know you are being played. So with that said this was my last time purchasing tyres from them. Do not recommend unless you like being treated like an idiot. Additionally, the garage that fitted wheels, scratched them. While not a direct fault of Asda, it makes one wonder what partnerships they strike with incompetent garages. As I have said before, this is the last time I have used them.

Oct 23,2024ive ordered one tyre online and they didnt show me before fitted by company ,after that ive seen that it looks very old and dirty ,ive check with another company theyve told that its for 2021 ,i asked them after one day bc it was on weekend to either change it with the new one or refund the money they denied .ive paid 340 pounds for one tyre ,its a robbery

Oct 19,2024After paying nearly £600 for 2 tyres, customer service have basically said they are unwilling to help or discuss. The tyres I ordered, show an image of a flat sidewall, the tyres that were fitted have a rim protector in the profile which looks terrible. There is no description of this on the website. The response - images are for illustration purposes. I will be using black circles from now on, slightly more expensive, but at least you will receive what you ordered.

Oct 16,2024I was looking for two Michelin tyres for my van - eye-waveringly expensive from Kwik Fit, the place I've used for van tyres in the past. And who also didn't have the tyres when I went for the appointment I'd booked directly with the branch. I did what I should have done first off - bought online with ASDA Tyres; everything went smoothly plus they offered a much better price than elsewhere. Needless to say, I shall be going back to ASDA next time! To mangle the old catchphrase - you can't get sh*tter than a KwikFit fitter

Oct 16,2024Well priced tyres, that's where it ends. Ordered 2 tyres and the fitter damaged both of my wheels. Asda customer service deflected from the start. Although I agree Asda didn't cause the damage, I am Asda's customer. They just deny any responsibility and try to bring up T&C's which aren't relevant. They eventually just ignore you. Extremely poor customer service from a big company. Avoid if you value your wheels!

Oct 12,2024I ordered 2 Goodyear tyres from Asda Tyres as I wanted a premium brand, booked an appointment for Saturday 10 am. I arrived at Protyre at 9.15 only to be told at 10.15 there were no tyres delivered! Why leave me an hour and not check when I arrived? They then told me they had been looking for them everywhere and as they hold a lot of tyres it took some time.... really! It takes a couple of minutes to check an invoice and confirm delivery, not an hour. Asda checked and there was a delay on the supplier side but no one thought to inform me. I had to take my son to the airport in the afternoon, but as the tyre had a slow puncture it was not worth mending, also I did not feel it was safe to drive on the motorway and was why I booked the appointment. Asda were no help at all.

Oct 12,2024Chose Asda Tyres over companies due to availability and price. They were supposed to deliver my tyre at 2pm on Saturday, got no word from them at all and called the garage who said that my tire had not been delivered at 2 pm. Asda Tyres is not open after 1.30 on Saturday, So I could not get any updates. I called other departments in Asda who said that they do not have connections to Asda Tyres and that we would have to wait till Monday. I needed my tire changed urgently that day. Got no confirmation by email or call to say what happened to my tire. Eventually had to call back on Monday and requested that Asda Tyres does a free mobile fitting for my tire as they were the reason that I lost out on work on the weekend when I couldn’t drive my car. I also had to borrow a car to take my tire to the garage, which was a massive inconvenience and then to find out my tire was not there, even though I waited around several hours. Customer Service said that they would not do this and will charge us if we wanted a mobile fitting, despite this being an issue on their side. I questioned what my compensation was due to Asda’s failures, The lady on the phone said that there was nothing they would do. I was going on holiday in two days and did not have the energy to deal with this so requested a refund which they gave me. No accountability was taken by Ada Tyres. When I questioned why we cannot get a hold of them on the weekend, The lady shared that they are not a 24 hour service, I let her know that they are fitting Tyres After hours, so what am I supposed to do if an issue like mine has come up? The lady denied this being their issue and the issue of their supplier. I let her know that this is Asda’s issue as they are the ones that we have purchased this tire and service from. Complete waste of time and energy

Oct 10,2024Booked 2 tyres to be replaced on Saturday 5th/Oct. Picked 10am on order form to get this email after: "Unfortunately your nominated fitter has contacted me today to advise of a double booking, they have asked if we would be able to reschedule your appointment I have provisionally rescheduled your appointment for Sat 5th Oct, 2024 - 13:30pm, if this new appointment time does not work for you please reply to this email..." Which I did, and requested 4pm: "Thank you for confirming this. I have booked this in for you - you should have received a new order confirmation with the new time on" So, all booked for 4pm after their initial mess-up. Turned up at 4pm, for garage to tell me we missed our 1.30pm slot. Showed them the email confirming 4pm - they said they had not been informed of the change by Asda. I contacted Asda then on Monday to tell them about this (as you can see, they've now messed up twice by this point), they will not offer anything as a gesture of goodwill. Requested a refund (which I now have) and will go elsewhere.

Oct 09,2024On 07.10.24 I ordered 4 x Goodyear vector 4 season gen 3 tyres from ASDA and these were fitted by Bridgnorth tyres - team protyre on 09.10.24 I was concerned as my online payment was not taken by Asda Stores Limited but another company called Colewood Automotive Limited. I looked at the Trustpilot reviews for this company and they were not good. I phoned Asda customer service to ask who the contract was if anything were to go wrong and told it was with Colewood Automotive Limited. Fast forward to today I arrived at Bridgnorth tyres and asked if I could check the manufacturing date of my tyres which was no problem, the date code was 3124 on all 4 tyres, so only 3 months from being manufactured. Bridgnorth tyres balanced & changed all a tyres plus 4 wheel alignment in about 1.5 hours I am very pleased with the tyres and service that I received

Oct 09,2024Not only did I have to cancel my order because your fitter canceled on me, but i was told the refund would be quick, maximum 6 days. It took you 2 weeks. Blocking £300 for 2 weeks because of your mistake is incredibly unprofessional. Not even a email to explain the reason, apologise, etc…

Oct 07,2024I have ordered tyres twice this year from Asda to be delivered to a local garage for fitting. On both occastions the tyres hadn't arrived at the garage in time for the appointment. After arriving at the garage I was told they hadn't arrived and I needed to call Asda. They didn't offer any real assistance other than you will have to come back again once they arrive.

Oct 25,2024The tyres purchased from Asda had a good price point, but they were delivered an hour later than my appointment. Also, it took 2 hours to install two from tyres, from the time he got them. (Doing nothing else) The individual putting the tyres back on did not know how to operate the torque wrench and I had to set the torque for him.
