They were always ready to answer our questions, patient with our anxiety and lack of understanding, even though we bothered them all the time lol. I can't fail to mention the fees charged, which are much lower compared to other solicitors we researched. Ultimately, we have no words to thank them enough for the services provided.

Regular emails were issued informing me of progress and everything was completed in good time. Also very reasonably priced compared to other Solicitors fees. Nov 24,2023I am a first time buyer so I don't have any other solicitors to compare to, but the sale all went through ok and in a good time frame - three months exactly! And the price was good, so all in all I am very happy. All of the staff I spoke to on the phone were polite to me. I wouldn't give 5 stars because the communication could have been better; I requested call backs a few times after not being able to get through and didn't hear back, and I sent a few emails that were not responded to. It all worked out in the end 🙂 but I felt a little left in the dark throughout the process. This might just be because I didn't understand what was meant to be happening and I'm quite an anxious person who likes to know everything! There was a small issue with some of the paperwork at one point with my name not being added to the deed but it was resolved very quickly. There were also some extra costs at the end but I was warned at the beginning that this might happen. I think I'd use them again as they are good value for money and next time I might be able to relax knowing that I can trust them to be getting on with it! If you are looking for someone to hold your hand throughout the process and check in with you, you might have to spend a little more elsewhere but they will get the job done 🙂. To make it 5 stars from me, a little more regular communication, explanation and asking if I had any questions would do it. Thank you Lisa and Sue, I am very happy in my new home!

Communication was great, in particular with Nikki, the Legal Assistant. Throughout the process Nikki was always ready to help, explain and answer my questions.

We are so very grateful to Nikki and Amy for their tireless work and incredibly diligent service from beginning to end of a long and drawn out conveyancing process. Nikki is so friendly and reassuring, and always ready to answer questions. The communication was top notch. Given how stressful a house move can be, they really helped make it easier. We will definitely want them in our corner again if we move from our current place. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Originally selected using the conveyancingindex.co.uk they were the best price, initially nervous that they were based along way from us, but this fear was not necessarily. After a couple of lost sales we eventually moved, and Nikki and Amy kept us informed throughout. I would recommend them 100%.

Nov 06,2023Hands down the best Conveyancing firm I've ever had dealings with. We instructed Baker Ashley to handle our sale and purchase. Both Nikki and Amy were super efficient and and were so kind, patient and thorough when answering any questions I had throughout the process. They communicated regularly and updated the Hoowla system which was also great to keep an eye on progress periodically. It can often be difficult to engage or to obtain updates with certain firms as has been my experience previously however I cannot say this for this one - absolutely stirling job start to finish. Due to holidays/annual leave I was also put in touch with Andrew for completion and you could tell the handover was done by Nikki with great detail and consideration so that matters ran smoothly. Andrew was fantastic also and ensured he updated both us and others in the chain every step of the way on the day of completion. You are all a complete credit to Baker Ashley and we wish you all well. Thank you so much for making this process as pleasant as it has been. We couldn't be happier!
