My mum used Baker Ashley for her sale and recommended I use them for my first house purchase. We were recommended to Baker Ashley by our mortgage advisor and we're very glad that we were. Even though we are not local to them the service we received was excellent. We hit a few snags along the way and they were always so helpful and quick to get us an answer as soon as possible. As first time buyers we had a lot of questions and they were very reassuring and understanding and very easy to talk to. I would highly recommend them.
Handled my sale/purchase. Data protection breached (sent me other client correspondence containing personal info), repeatedly sent me correspondence to my OLD address, knowing that I had moved home (they were handling the sale/purchase) and also failed to pay my stamp duty on time, meaning I was chased by HMRC for the money. This was over Xmas, so could not even speak to them as their offices were closed. They eventually paid the money to HMRC. Raised a complaint and still waiting for written confirmation of the outcome. (lets face it, they've probably sent that to my old address too!) Verbally told on the phone that I would be offered a discount on future services, but a mute point based on the above. Would NEVER use again and would recommend others steer clear. In response to your comments, I had received multiple client documents when the error had occurred, not just the correspondence of one. In relation to the payment of my SDLT, I did NOT receive a letter from you about this on 10th January, in fact I did not receive ANY letter from you regarding this full stop. I had received chase letters from HMRC (twice) asking me to pay the sum, but not from BA. And I am still waiting for my letter confirming the outcome (officially) in writing of my official complaint. We spoke on 24th January and I’ve still not had any letter come through the post. No doubt you’ll have an excuse for this also I’m sorry but I think you are getting your wires crossed. I had a conversation with your MD on 24th January (I can provide call logs to assist with this) and we did NOT discuss the letter sent to me because I have never received one. The conversation I had with your MD on 24th, was a courtesy call from her to go through verbally the whole situation and details of my complaint and the intended outcome of said complaint. I will not have you publish information that is not correct and I look forward to receiving a letter in due course. Remember to send it to the right address Update 2nd March 2020 - still no letter received!! Over 2 weeks since I was told it was going to be sent.

Had a bumping start with the solicitor we had first, he was completely useless and looks to have done nothing. However when Delyth joined the company and took over our case, it was great.
