Nov 02,2023Baker Ashley had great reviews on the internet when we searched for a conveyancing solicitor. We needed a solicitor that would be efficient and could work with me in the UK and my sister who lives abroad. Nikki Kiss is amazing, so patient with our numerous phone calls at the start of the house sale. They tracked activity and we could view it on line. When so many people are stuck in long expensive house sale transactions, our sale was completed in just 7 weeks. Baker Ashley are efficient, affordable and I will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a helpful, efficient solicitor. Thank you Baker Ashley Team.

You really couldn't ask for a better experience which made moving house a lot less stressful than I've heard it can be. Full communication at every step of the way and they dealt with everything promptly. We had building regulations issues and localised search issues which the team dealt with so well. They're so nice to deal with and real people that are easy to talk to. They clearly work as a team and enjoy what they do. Oct 25,2023The team at Baker Ashley are wonderful. They are incredibly diligent in their tasks and make every effort to ensure that their client is fully supported throughout the whole process. I felt like I could fully trust and rely on the team at Baker Ashley, I was kept informed of every update and never had to chase the team to see where we were at with the progress. The whole team are wonderfully personal and I did not feel like a burden at any time- and I asked a lot of questions! I am so pleased I chose Baker Ashley as my Solicitors, I don't feel anyone else would have measured up to their capabilities, and I will certainly be using them in the future.

Oct 25,2023BakerAshley were recommended to me by my financial advisor at the start of my house purchase journey. I am a first time buyer and was going through this process on my own so was very glad of a recommended solicitor, but initially anxious because I am based in London, miles away from Pontypridd. However, I needed have worried- everything was wonderful and went very smoothly and communication was excellent. I particularly liked the transparent system that means you can keep track of where you are in the purchase process- there are regular updates that you receive via email alert. I wanted to give Lisa a special mention- she was really brilliant at patiently answering all my questions (of which there were many!) and really did go above and beyond. Sue was also wonderful with helping me when Lisa wasn't available- both were always so quick to respond and were available by phone and email. Thank you so much!!

Sep 20,2023There was an issue with the service charge on completion which left me needing to pay £1000 more than I should have when I took over the property. This was an oversight from both sets of solicitors and only came to light a couple of months after the completion date. However, when I raised this back to Baker Ashley they were slow at responding, slow to acknowledge my proposal for a resolution to put forward to the seller's solicitors and eventually stopped replying to emails or answering calls from either me, the seller's solicitors or the managing agent trying to resolve the issue. This left us in a stalemate which had been ongoing for nearly a year despite repeated attempts from all parties to resolve. Eventually I managed to resolve this myself by reaching out to the seller on social media to present him the issue - with him agreeing he had underpaid and sending me back the money outside of the solicitors. If I had left it to Baker Ashley I would have been out of pocket by £1000. Please hope there are no oversights in your completion process, as Baker Ashley do not seem to care once they receive their fee.

Sep 14,2023I have used Baker Ashley three times for conveyancing and each time have been really impressed with their service. They are professional and at the same time very approachable for advice and reassuring when stressed! This last time the seller actually pulled out and despite them spending time over the telephone and writing emails for me they refunded every penny of deposit without my even asking for it. Ironically I found them through a cost comparison website where they came up as really low cost but they don’t compromise when it comes to service!

They were always happy to chat with us when we had any concerns and helped put our mind's at ease. They did all the chasing for us and kept us up to date regularly. With the house purchase, the sellers solicitors were very slow but Amy tenaciously chased all the legal papers and indemnities until their conclusion on my behalf, which gave me peace of mind. Whenever I sent an email or phoned Baker Ashley the reception staff, Amy and Nikki were very friendly, prompt to reply, patient and understanding. I cannot praise them enough.
