Great crew and worked hard.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Stay far away from this company. They canceled TWICE on us the day of our move!!!!! Didn’t even tell us either only for us to call to find out the time to say our reservation was canceled and NEVER called us??? Then they confirm to send a team out at 2pm… they call at 130pm THIRTY MINUTES before we’re supposed to move to say they don’t have a team… who does that??? What kind of business runs like this??? When they finally showed up the next day my $3,000 sectional got damaged with holes in it since the movers didn’t wrap it… bellhop offered $120 for the damage LOL don’t waste your time. Terrible experience
It went very smoothly! The team leader was communicative and the guys were friendly and moved my things quickly. Everything was wrapped nicely. It was a very easy process!

The move went smoothly, thanks to our Bellhop assistants! Scheduling by telephone was easy and the scheduler I spoke with was responsive and got back to me quickly with an estimate. The movers reported on time, ready to work. They were efficient, knew what they were doing, took care with our items, and finished in a timely manner. They were pleasant and easy to work with and I'd be happy to use any of them again.
I was quoted a price for 5 hours, with 3 workers and a truck. On the day of the move, only 2 workers showed up. They were adamant they will still be able to get the job done, but ended up taking over 8 hours to complete the move. I even ended up helping the two movers unload the truck (basically half of the service I paid for..), otherwise it would have taken at least another hour or two. Then, Bellhop charged me for the move going over the estimated 5 hours! With only 2 of the workers showing up for the move, and me ending up helping the 2 workers to complete the move… They did reimburse me some of the charge for only having 2 workers show up, but still was charged more than the quoted price. Just rubs me the wrong way that I was charged more for something that was not my fault.
Thanks bellhop for making a very stressful move (Atlanta to Dallas) much more manageable. All the reps were helpful and customer service was easy to get in touch with. Added bonus that our delivery time was only one day without needing to wait for things to arrive. My loaders, unloaders and driver all arrived right on time and were all easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. Will definitely use again if I need to make a big long distance move!

Catastrophic experience for a 5 mile move from house to apt in Edina, MN Move delayed a day, no explanation or apology Unprofessional inexperienced movers, not Bellhop employees no moving blankets or any moving equipment. Had to tear the curtains off of our windows to use as blankets, and provide tape as they had none Only sent 2 movers instead of contracted 3 so move took 12 hours instead of 5 and we were billed twice amount of contracted amount Damaged 5 pieces of valuable furniture Impossible to talk to Bellhop corporate office- call center based offshore Fraudulent insurance and very difficult to file a claim, much less get appropriate compensation- 60cents/lb of items but they grossly underestimate the weight. we had to send them a photo of our damaged dining room table on the scale to prove it was triple the weight, and still didn't get accurate compensation unable to finish the move in one day so team 'leader' returned next day with his own pick up truck and still couldn't move all items safely, so my husband had to mover remaining 2 pieces of heavy furniture. I typically refrain from lengthy reviews, but our appalling experience with Bellhop compels me to warn others. This moving company, which presented itself as professional and reliable, turned our long-distance move from Los Angeles to Seattle into a complete nightmare. Pre-Move Promises vs. Reality: Upon booking, I discussed specific requirements with a Bellhop representative, Jamie Edwards. I was assured that our movers would be Bellhop employees, in uniform, using a Bellhop truck, and equipped to handle a long-distance move with all necessary supplies. Instead, what followed was a cascade of misinformation and chaos: Confirmed Moving Date Changed: We were informed at the last minute that our moving date was not guaranteed. Movers Unprofessional: The movers, who arrived in an Enterprise truck, were subcontracted, not Bellhop employees. They lacked professionalism, appearing disheveled and unprepared. Lack of Supplies: The movers had insufficient blankets and no proper packing materials, forcing us to use our own resources. Day of the Move: The moving day was rife with stress and mismanagement: Incorrect Timing: Confusion over the scheduled time due to a timezone mix-up, causing unnecessary panic. Unprepared and Unprofessional Staff: The team leader brought his toddler to the job site, contributing further to the unprofessional atmosphere. The movers were inadequately prepared, with minimal moving supplies. Constant Threats of Insufficient Space: We were repeatedly warned that our belongings might not fit, despite prior moves having no such issues. Post-Move Issues: Avoidance by Bellhop Representatives: Attempts to contact the Bellhop representative who arranged our move were futile. Empty Promises: Conversations with the CEO and other supervisors during the move promised resolutions that never materialized. Severe Damage and Carelessness: Our belongings were carelessly handled; not properly wrapped or secured, resulting in significant damage. Conclusion: This move was marked by a severe lack of professionalism, preparedness, and honesty. What was advertised as a stress-free and efficient service turned out to be a distressing ordeal, with movers who seemed barely more capable than if we had hired random people off the street. The experience was so far from what was promised that it felt like a blatant case of false advertising. Demands for Resolution: We have captured extensive video evidence and possess all relevant communications. We are seeking full reimbursement for the move and compensation for damages, which we estimate to be at least $10,000. Final Thoughts: If you value your belongings and peace of mind, I strongly advise against using Bellhop. This experience was not only stressful but also deeply disappointing from a company that claims to be a leader in the industry.

The booking process was a mess - I almost went with another company. I was unable to complete my transaction online. SIX people then called or texted me. I talked with 2 people on the phone and there was such a language barrier that I politely ended the calls. The third woman I talked to was great and we got it booked. I gave her lots of detail on what needed to be moved, how (inside the house) and where. We talked about a large desk and increased the time frame from 2 to 3 hours because of that. Unfortunately, none of that information got to our movers who thought they were moving to a truck and did not bring the appropriate equipment to move the large desk. The only positive part of the experience was our movers - Cain and Reginald. They were professional, efficient and went above and beyond.
