The team was responsive, helpful, careful with our belongings and willing to help out at the end when there were some items that needed to be taken for donation.

Amazing group of guys who worked hard in the Florida heat to get our daughter’s apartment moved in. Professional, friendly and efficient! Will def hire them again when she is finished with her residency next year.

The day of the move, the Lead for the project texted in unable to make it. That left one mover, Jesse, to do the job. He was awesome. But, he and my husband and son sure had to work a lot harder than they would have. Due to the short notice they were not able to send a replacement. I don’t know whether we are paying for two movers or one as I have not yet heard from Customer Service. Again, Jesse is AWESOME. Great attitude and effort.

Stay away. They are not professional movers. They contracted us for a 3 hour $400 move and billed us for a 5.5 hour move and over $1000! They also totally destroyed one large wardrobe and asked us to file a claim and send photos. We did that and then heard nothing back. a month later a supervisor called and said they have no photos and no claim and now it is too late! It’s a scam. Keep looking!

My experience with Bellhop Moving was an absolute nightmare. I had never heard of Bellhop, but I was encouraged by the strong reviews I read online. I called the reservation agent to make a reservation for Saturday, June 29, 2024 to move apartments; the agent encouraged me to instead book for the following day because Sunday is the less expensive option. My lease ended on Sunday, July 30th. On moving day, only one mover showed up (Elijah); he was wonderful, but I had reserved two movers and one mover would be unable to complete the task. I called the company and it turns out the second mover was on another job and that they could not find a replacement to come on a Sunday. Mind you, this was the last day of my lease and I had no other options. I was and am FURIOUS. THIS COMPANY LEFT ME HIGH AND DRY with nothing but an apology and a refund. Had I not found outside help, I would have incurred additional fees from my apartment. I wish I could leave this company negative stars. Never again.

If you want a company to come to your home 2 hours late, ignore your instructions, move stuff that you told them to not move, and, then claim there is not enough room for items you told them need to be prioritized, Bellhop is the moving company for you. They even managed to move two twin bed mattresses and box springs and take off leaving the bed frames before we could do a final walk through because the truck was suddenly full at the last instant. In top of that I have to take a car full of lawn trimming equipment back to the old home so that I can get the house's yard ready for sale pictures. They promise you a crew of professionals, then send a crew from somewhere else that is simply a crew of contract laborers, not professional movers. Then, when you ask for assistance from customer service they fail to get back to you so you wind up calling multiple times only getting an offer to take a 10% discount to move the things they didn't right in the first place. My advice to anyone who wants their move done right is run, don't walk away from Bellhop.

UPDATE: The customer experience manager Val reached out after 5 days of back and forth with other agents and we resolved the matter in a way that was both fair and efficient. As a result of her research and resolution, I would be happy to continue doing business with Bellhop for my next move. Val saved the relationship and customer. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent service provided by your company for my move on 6/21/2024. While I had high expectations based on Bellhop's reputation, the experience was far from satisfactory, primarily due to an overcharge of $1,777. The main issue arose from a miscalculation by your company regarding the size of the truck needed for my move. As a result, the moving team had to make multiple trips to complete the move. The team leader acknowledged this error, stating it was the company's fault and assured me that I would not be charged beyond the originally quoted 5-6 hours. However, upon receiving my final bill, I was shocked to see the overcharge of $1,777. This amount is significantly higher than what was originally quoted and agreed upon. I feel this charge is unjust and contrary to the assurance given by your team leader on the day of the move. I request that you review this situation and adjust my bill to reflect the originally quoted amount, as promised. The additional charges incurred due to your company's miscalculation should not be my responsibility. Please respond to this complaint at your earliest convenience. I hope we can resolve this matter quickly and amicably. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The estimate I was given was 4 hrs. I moved from a small one-bedroom 1000 sq. ft. 2nd floor apartment to a 2-bedroom one-story home. There was an extra mover, a trainee, but it still took well over 5 hours to move my things. It seemed they deliberately dragged along in order to not finish within the 4-hour time frame. They also did not assemble my bed. In addition, my china cabinet was damaged. They didn't tell me of the damage at the time. The cabinet is over 6 ft tall and I didn't notice the damage until after it was too late to file a claim. It isn't significant damage but it does mar the appearance of the cabinet. I will not use this company again.

The moving team on the loading side was only at 50% capacity, as only 2 of the 4 movers showed up. The driver was great, as was the unloading team. 1 star removed for the lack of show-up from the movers, and 1 more star removed as Bellhop has failed to respond to my emails about the lack of movers/a slight damage during transit. It's been about 2 weeks since I first reached out.

They broke a $2000 futon. They also lost or stole a 40-year-old handmade afghan blanket and didn't respond to any of our inquiries about it. Would really like to get it back :[

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL moving company!!! Damaged/broke so many of my items and thew so much of my stuff in my yard. I filed a claim and they barely gave me any money back in relation to how much stuff they damaged. They snapped a $300 lamp in half and gave me $10 for it. I kept calling asking for a refund/partial refund for the actual move because of the inconvenience they caused and they gave me $18 back hahahaha not even enough to pay for my dinner that night. Total slap in the face. PLEASE do yourself a favor and don't even go to their website! HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!!!!!!
