May 22,2024If I could rate them lower than 1 star I would. I WOULD NEVER USE BELLHOP AGAIN!!! AND WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND YOU DO EITHER! The driver showed up on time and the other workers about 40 minutes later. They did not really come prepared with supplies, no blankets, wrap or cushioning or straps to secure anything. The didn't disassemble the bed frame and layed it on its side on a textured concrete walkway. The mattress was shoved in the elevator and just kind of left there unattended. The dresser was dropped on it side and the overall experience was not worth the anxiety or stress. When we arrived at our new house is when the real fun began. Basically every piece of furniture was damaged from just being placed in the trunk on there side. Without protection, they crushed several boxes by playing heavier boxes on top of them. Lucky not much of the contents were damaged. We are still unpacking but two items were broken. But worst of all is they damaged my HOUSE!!!! They apparently got it with other the truck or lifting something off of the truck. We hired movers so that it would be less stressful as I have severe anxiety and PTSD from my time in the military. Now I have to have someone come out and repair my house and see if Bellhop will take responsibility for the actions of their sub-contractor.

May 17,2024Lack of communication. I wanted them to primarily move my large items. They stated that they couldn't get to items. Items were unsanitary. Dogs smelled of ammonia. All lies. I had items in a room to be donated. Nothing was said to me about anything. Onsite supervisor called corporate instead of telling me what the issue was. $200 to cancel or reschedule. Giant breed dog blowing his coat in the heat. Busy packing a 4 bedroom house. Under skilled company with lack of communication skill. They left our things on the front porch as well. A $350 lesson learned. I would NEVER HIRE THEM!

May 13,2024I had an 8am appt. Driver showed at 8:10. No movers showed up. I had to wait and hour and a half to be told that no team would be arriving. Apparently no dedicated moving team. If I could rate a 0 I would. Horribly disappointed.

May 09,2024If less than one star was possible, I would choose it. Do not hire this company. It was a horrible experience. After filling out the information about what I needed moved and speaking with them on the phone and being assured that they would move my upright piano the movers refused saying it was against their policy. The did not bring a big enough truck so they could not move my outdoor furniture. The movers were unable to take apart a bed frame. Please note: All they had to move was furniture and a few totes. I moved all the boxes and items that were on the walls myself. They left a rug and other items in the house, scraped paint and trampled plants. This was a move across town of a three bedroom house. It took them almost 8 hours. To top it off they charged me an additional $800. dollars for "extra hours". So in addition to not moving what they had agreed to I am being penalized for their incompetence by being charged almost double the original quote and having to hire additional movers. A move that was supposed to cost $1000 is now costing close to $3000. I am a 70 year old single woman and feel that I have been scammed and takes advantage of. Beware. Find a professional moving company.

May 07,2024They were careless and broke 2 pieces of our furniture, tried to take our our neighbors tree and left all the broken branches for us to clean up, scratched walls in our new home and then offered us $160ish for the damages which is not even a fraction of the damages done! The movers that damaged our items weren't even apologetic, just was like oh well, file a claim. NEVER TRUST THIS COMPANY AGAIN!
