Oct 06,2023Everything except closing can be done online, very easy to read online instructions and exactly what documents need to be submitted, and can electronically sign. Very fast turnaround time and Brie was extremely helpful and answered all my questions and very easy to work with. I did a refi with you a few years ago and also had a great experience, thank you so much for making the whole process painless! With the rising credit card rates, it makes perfect sense to get HELOC with low interest rate.

The pre-approval worked seamlessly, with the ability to upload all of my necessary documents from my IPhone. The team was in daily communication, reminding me of tasks needed to be reviewed. Sep 22,2023Andrew and Courtney were very helpful and professional. The process is quite lengthy, but dashboard tasks make it easy to complete each task. I really like the way that better.com is approaching clients. One of the best experiences in taking a loan directly from the lender. I would 100 percent recommend better.com to anyone who wants to avoid broker fees in taking the home loan.

Sep 11,2023An innovative lending platform that WORKS ! Streamlined and efficient process that gets the paperwork stage quickly out of the way so you can get to closing and funded QUICKLY ! There were a few small hiccups with the notary/title company that sidelined the process temporarily at the end but overall they were minor and inconsequential. Brie was TERRIFIC ! We will be working with BETTER Mortgage again soon !

Everything is done through e signing ,and you can schedule calls with the helpful Better team, thanks Maxine and Katherine for making this experience a breeze!

Sep 10,2023Don’t use Better unless you live in a major metropolitan area and have only basic financials. The “valuation” company Better contracted sent a real estate agent (not the valuation person) out to take pictures of the house and property. The company subsequently missed many aspects of the property and under-valued the home resulting in my having to add tens of thousands of dollars to my down payment. Additionally, Better was requesting very detailed financial questions 1 week before closing, even though they had received all of my tax returns a month earlier. In the end, any savings Better appeared to have due to a slightly lower interest rate was more than taken up with the need for greater deposit, and the hassle of last-minute questions. They started out great, and ended up being an absolute nightmare. Go to a local bank, work with local people…you will be much happier.

Always returned my calls, was so very patient and helpful and friendly. She knows her stuff and is efficient and through. I loved working with her. Even my realtor was impressed I wouldnt doubt if she recommends Better Mortgage to future clients. I tell everyone I know what a great experience I had with Better Mortgage.

Sep 02,2023I used better mortage after looking at multiple different lenders and swapped from rocket mortage to better. I noticed that better was the ONLY lender that let me see the rate table and choose the one that fits me best. The tasks were completed piece by piece and were not done overwhelmingly. Throughout the entire process I was able to email Ashley or Someone from the loan department who was friendly willing & able to help me out with any concerns. We closed early, they are in California so it was awesome being able to have support after work in the eastern time zone. I even received a $2000 AMEX credit after 5 days of closing + multiple discounts on my loan. I have referred them to other friends and family. 10/10 Would HAPPILY use again.

Sep 01,2023I felt very unsupported during this process. Communication was horrible. Bradley did not return my calls or emails and I was constantly pawned off on a processor who read from a script. My “team” did not act like a team. If I asked a question the reply was often, “Like I already said….” Just disrespectful and terrible customer service. I would never recommend Better, but I had to submit at least one star in order to write a review. You can do better, Better.

Their customer service was very quick and helpful in dealing with any trouble. Much better interest rates than I found elsewhere.
