Eric took the time to break down the loan estimate, educated me on how to compare rates and always texted and called back when he said he would. I actually started out using a local mortgage broker who would match Eric’s rate but switched because of the top notch customer service I received by Eric. When our inspection report was less than satisfactory and we chose not to go through with the purchase, Kamaria was very helpful and understanding of the situation. She also followed up through text and email and helped me cancel my upcoming appraisal and refund my money. I was hesitant to use an online lender but after the experience I received by your Eric, Kamaria and your team, I will be calling Eric when we go under contract on another property. I had great experience with Better Mortgage when I refinance my home mortgage in April. I mostly worked with the loan coordinator Kamaria and she was so knowledgeable and kind. My loan application was a little complicated because it involved my investment property but Kamaria took care of it. I was really impressed. She is by far the best loan coordinator that I have worked with. BTW, I also liked the online based application process offered by Better Mortgage.

I am am repeat client and will be back again! I absolutely love the portal. Everything is digital but with quick communication from loan consultants when digital path has a hick up. I feel I was very well taken care of by Better. They closed my loan in 18 days!

As first time homebuyers, we were (initially) very intimidated by the process of underwriting. There are a lot of document and information requests thrown your way, and it can at times feel like you're being perceived as "guilty" and are being challenged by the underwriters to prove your innocence. Rosa Simmons (loan coordinator) and Elliott Reiss (loan consultant) held our hands throughout this process however and made us a lot more comfortable. As we approached closing, we felt like they were on our side and had a genuine interest in getting across the finish line.
My loan team was communicative, flexible and knowledgeable. They explained the process to me thoroughly and gave me options for roadblocks we encountered. I’d definitely use them again if I need to refinance or buy my forever home.

This is my second mortgage with Better. They are easy to work with, have competitive rates and very helpful with the process.
Jamie has been an excellent support throughout the house closing process. The rates at Better.com are more competitive than average market rate. The underwriting process at Better is more thorough than I have ever seen. That can be good for you but it can also act against you as they go into the tiniest details that won’t really affect your application, which could delay the day you have been dreaming about. Overall, it’s a good experience but be prepared as the underwriting process can be frustrating.
