Mar 12,2025We went to the island at the last minute and knew almost nothing about it. At first we were surprised that they didn't have the car we ordered and paid for in advance (Toyota Aygo), but they gave us a Kia Picanto, which was in terrible condition - scratched all over, bent doors, metal sheets, we found more than 10 damages on it. Ok, we didn't deal with it, these are not important things and enjoy our vacation. However, I asked the lady what she thought about the insurance and that I couldn't decide. She just said that it was as we wanted. And I said that I wouldn't do it that way. She didn't give us any advice. We drove 3000 km around the entire island in it and during that we got into a snowstorm and a strong wind and also several times we got on an unpaved road full of stones. The car had very poor quality, cheapest all-season tires made in Pakistan, which were not designed for snow!!!! We suffered and were stressed the whole time, so that something would happen to us, it was not suitable for such routes at all and I did not know how to do business. We later found out was a big mistake to dont have any insurance. For us, the rental company is disappointing and we would have enjoyed our vacation much more if they had advised us to take a bigger car and get it properly insured.

Mar 11,2025It was beyond easy to pick up and return my car. The car was spotless, drove smoothly on the icy roads and let me go where I wanted when I wanted, including pulling off the road to say hello to some beautiful Icelandic horses and capturing incredible photos.

Mar 10,2025I've rented numerous cars around the world, but Bluecarrental stands out by far. Picking up the car was very easy & quick to do. But the one thing that makes Bluecarrental memorable is their top tier customer service. Always quick to reply to questions and so accomodating, I felt truly cared for as a customer. I look forward to returning to Iceland (there's so much more to discover) and will definitely book Bluecarrental again.

Mar 10,2025Nous avons loué trois véhicules via Blue car rental (3 Dacia Duster). J'avais planifié ces locations bien en amont lors de l'organisation de notre voyage et j'ai pu échanger par message avec les équipes de Blue car rental sur toutes les questions relatives aux véhicules, à l'ajout de conducteurs supplémentaires ou encore sur les modalités de retour pour déposer les voitures très tôt (5 am). Ils ont été très réactifs et de bons conseils. Par ailleurs, la plateforme est extrêmement bien faite et une mine d'informations. Je recommande vivement ce loueur si vous programmez un séjour en Islande !

Mar 09,2025Toyota land cruiser en buenas condiciones, seguro, mucho espacio, viajamos tranquilos y visitamos todos los lugares que pudimos en los primeros días de marzo. Manejamos más 2200 km en 10 días sin problemas. Definitivamente volvería a alquilar con blue car rental

Mar 09,2025Nice service and wonderful car. The situation of the car we rent is wonderful. When we arrived Iceland, the wind becomes strong and powerful, and it made us very difficult to walk on the road. The blue car rental save us and let us have a better journey.

Mar 09,2025We rented twice during our week in Iceland. Pick ups were easy both at the airport and the city office. Drop offs were quick and smooth. I realized late in the day that I would have to do an after hour pick up at the city location and was patiently helped to assure a successful after hours pick up.

Mar 09,2025Great experience. They are very honest and they reply very fast to your questions. The car was better than expected. Only one thing, one there website, you must pay in isk, so you're charged by your bank.

We received clear and timely instructions and our questions were quickly answered. To summarize, we can recommend Blue Car Rental for everyone and our trip in Island was a bit more relaxing and better because of it.

Simply collect your keys from the key box, take your car, and enjoy the country. Both of our rental cars have been clean and tidy and perfect for the road, with excellent tyres. Mar 08,2025The rental company made it very easy to pick up the car in the morning. It was a quick scan and go which was perfect because we got in very early. We did end up incurring a few ticket charges because of unclear payment directions in a parking garage, but the car drove well on the icy roads.

Mar 08,2025Great experience in Iceland with Blue car rental, picked the car up from a secure lockbox which was really easy, no queueing and straight on the road within a few minutes. We picked up the car from the city office in Reykjavik. The car was great, clean and just as described. Would definitely recommend.
