Apr 14,2025I had an excellent experience with Blue Car Rental during my trip to Iceland. The entire process was seamless from start to finish. Online check-in was quick and easy, which helped us get on the road with zero waiting time. The Tesla Model Y was ok and fully ready upon arrival. Pick-up and drop-off at Keflavik International Airport were both efficient. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. I also appreciated the clear communication via email and the detailed guidance on what to expect and bring. Overall, a very professional and customer-focused service. Would definitely recommend to anyone renting a car in Iceland!

Apr 14,2025Great car and service. However I had some trouble with the online check in and the road tax cost that came unexpectedly. Additionally, local parking rules were hard to understand and we ended up with som fines. Blue car rental could do a better job helping us understand these things.

Franchement, rien a redire là dessus. juste le coffre de toit totalement détruit, fermé par des sangles qui a dû être changé, ce qui nous a fait louper la fin d'apm, et même pas une petite compensation financière pour le désagrément. En même temps, le prix était déjà compétitif...

Mar 20,2025Amazing company, super convenient at the airport and makes hiring a car in Iceland really easy. The prices are very reasonable and if you have full insurance I think their prices are good. Staff are really friendly too and I use Blue Car every time I visit Iceland!

Mar 19,2025Wide choice of car model. We decided to choose a Jeep Renegade Trailhawk to go on the F roads and in the highlands. Instead, we were « upgraded » to a BMW X3 with street tires. I usually appreciate an upgrade, but on this occasion, this car was not appropriate for the use we intended to have with the car. No other options available. This is the 2nd time we rent a car with bluecarrental, and every time, the car was not in a proper condition (deflated tires and oil service due every time!!). Employees and managers didn’t seem to care.

Mar 15,2025We had a great time with Blue Car Rental! It was a quick and easy check-in, and they emailed a lot of helpful information ahead of time. They provided a thorough report of damage the car already had, but highly recommend getting the full coverage to be safe! Returning the car was simple as well; you just need to park and hand-in the key to someone inside. Also, their building is located less than a 5-minute walk from KEF.
