Mar 07,2025Pre-booking, I had several questions about car features, insurance, etc. Blue Car Rental was very helpful and responsive to each inquiry. Upon our arrival at KEF, Blue Car Rental was an easy shuttle ride (or walk). The car was clean, full of gas, and ready to go; the staff was efficient and helpful. The car was perfect for us. We had no issues. I reached out to Blue Car Rental once during our week to extend the rental for one day. The staff responded VERY quickly and accommodated my request. Drop off was seamless. I would HIGHLY recommend Blue Car Rental for your Iceland rental car needs.

Mar 06,2025Easy to book online and add all features you wanted/needed. Easy pick up and drop off. Never had an issue but went with a local rental company in case we needed assistance. Liked that you could add on separate sand and ash protection. Other companies you could only add it if you did the full insurance package. We were given a fob that was supposed to get discounts at fueling stations, we couldn’t make it work but that could have been an us problem. Vehicle was reliable and suitably prepared for the conditions. Company provided emails throughout our trip checking in as well as weather and road conditions which was useful.

Mar 06,2025We easily walked from the terminal to the rental office and seamlessly picked up our Kia Sportage for the week. The staff was hugely helpful in explaining the WiFi (which we opted to have for the week and highly recommend to others as it allowed us to hook up multiple devices to wifi for the whole trip and was portable as we traveled into sights with it) and the how to connect to CarPlay. We had no issues with the car and drop off was as seamless and quick as pickup. Great experience!

Mar 06,2025The car they gave us was exactly what we hoped for with no issues. Pick up and return was easy and there were no hidden or added fees or charges. Shuttle to airport is a little slow so allow 20 minutes.

Mar 06,2025Easy collection, easy drop off, hired a Toyota Aygo/ equivalent, was given a free upgrade to a Hyundai i20 on collection, it drove very smoothly, had heated seats and steering wheel, lane assist, android auto, most importantly, studded/ winter tyres. Incredible drive.

Mar 06,2025We had a very nice rental experience with Blue. The pickup using the key box was super easy and drop off was also a breeze. I had a question about the car which was answered quickly and kindly. The car was in good shape and drove well. I had no problems with the car or anything along the way. I really appreciated the full coverage options which helped alleviate any anxiety I may have had about renting a car in Iceland. If I am ever in need of a rental car in Iceland again, I would not hesitate to use Blue car rental.
