Mar 06,2025Overall it was a great rental. There were some issues with the condition of the car, the windscreen wipers desparately needed replacing, and the chassis was quite beat up. Also the studded tyres were in poor shape (lots of studs missing). Though if I'm honest, I'm not terribly surprised with the chassis condition. That being said, we had a Land Cruiser, and it ran wonderfully and allowed us to have incredible experiences that otherwise wouldn't be possible. Despite the minor niggles, I'll definitely be renting from Blue Car Rental again.

Mar 06,2025They were very helpful in an occasion when my flight to Iceland was cancelled, and moved my booked car for the next week without any surcharge. I booked a car in February, and car was very well equipped, even on basic level. It had winter tires with metal nails in it for stronger grip on icy surfaces. Tank was 95% full, but I guess it's cause the nearest gas station where you have a discount is a bit further away. It was very easy to pick up the keys and return them. Even when your schedule is off regular working time, there is a locker compartment where you can pickup/return the keys. And the best perk is, they don't require a credit card for car renting, even simple 16 digit debit card will work. All in all, very satisfied!

Mar 06,2025Picking up and droping off was super quick and easy. Car was in excellent condition and prices are really good. We had minor issue with paying for parking in one of the national parks which was solved really fast thanks to Blue car Rental customer support team. Overall great experience.

Mar 06,2025Super easy contactless checkin to get the keys and a simple drop off of the keys makes this rental agency very convenient. Great prices and a simple charge to remove liability gives great peace of mind. This was my third time renting from Blue and I will continue to do so in the future.

The auto check-in feature made picking up the car a breeze, which was especially convenient after landing at 2 AM. Everything was clearly explained, and I was on the road in no time. Mar 06,2025This is the 3rd time I've used this rental company and I honestly wouldn't use anyone else now! I loved how easy picking up the car was using the key box and the car was in great condition (as always)! I also thought that the price of the car was very reasonable compared to other rental companies and it comes with a lot of insurances covered. Would 100% use again and I would recommend to anyone looking to rent a car in Iceland!
