Feb 20,2025Super easy online process to get the car I wanted and add ons I needed for a care free winter adventure. It was all just so easy. When I arrived I used the quick pick up option so just got my keys from the box and off I went! Drop off was equally easy and the car I had was great. Would definitely use them again!

Feb 20,2025We have already booked 5 times with Blue Cars and we were all the times more than happy. Everything was very professionell, fast and easy to handle. Pick up Service always worked fast and easy. Also the return is absolutely smooth and very convenient. The employees were always very polite and friendly. They also offer a key pick up service in a box if you would like to take your keys straight ahead. We always booked the Toyota Rav4, all cars were in excellent conditions and clean. Therefore I can fully recommend Blue Cars, they are the best option.

Feb 20,2025Pick up and drop off were quick and easy. A lot of information was provided in advance of the rental to help with travel issues and questions about tolls, parking, navigation, road safety.

Feb 20,2025We felt blessed we choose blue car rental for 9 days. The service was beyond our expectations. The price was reasonable, Tmcar pick up was very smooth and the fuel discount tag was provided to help us save a little. The car condition is super new and clean. Heater seats, steeling wheel, and windshield help to keep us warm in the winter and time to defrost the ice on the windows. Once our car was stuck in the snow and we immediately called them. Clear instructions given by scan the QR code in the car. They sent someone to help us within 30 minutes. Beside this blue car will send email to notify customer when the weather is bad. Always get the full insurance coverage and worry free with blue car! This is the car rental company you can trust in Iceland.

From website navigation, locating pickup site after eighteen plus hours of travel time, picking up the vehicle (which was very well maintained), to vehicle drop off at their secondary location. This was our honeymoon trip, and Blue Car Rental made it so we could focus on enjoying ourselves and not worry about transportation.

Feb 19,2025The car rental is a short walk from the airport. We did the code access to get our car rental after our flight which was very easy! We also rented WiFi for the car while on the trip and it was THE BEST decision! So highly recommend that if you are traveling on airplane mode the entire time. Upon arrival, it was so cold that the WiFi thing was dead but a quick trip inside and they gave us a new one with full charge. It charges while you’re using it in the car too so it’s super user friendly. Our car had studded tires as we went in January. MUST HAVE because the weather will just change quickly on you. We had no troubles getting around with the snow and icy conditions (but we are also used to driving in these conditions). If you are not used to these conditions OR comfortable driving in them, then I would recommend not renting a car and using the tour services to explore so you don’t have to drive! Be careful of speeding radars and even parking radars as they will get you because you barely notice them! It’s easier to just pay the parking then get a $30 fine for not buying. We didn’t see one parking radar thing and got a fine so just pay attention to those as you’re driving into places AND don’t get distracted by the scenery before seeing if you need to pay to park LOL Returning the car was very easy too!

Feb 19,2025Our rental car had a warning sign come up on the dash when we were stuck on a one-way bridge at Jökulsárlón telling us to engine failure was imminent. We nervously called the help desk and the representative told us this was probably a faulty sensor and that eventually it would turn off. It did! We had no other problems with the car. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the drop off process was hectic. A big line of cars at the drop off area with no movement. Other than that, a great experience. This was our second time using Blue Car Rentals. The first time, back in 2014, we had an issue with our rental car door blowing off in a crazy gust of wind. Glad that didn't happen again!

Feb 19,2025Clear and well organized site, everything is clearly explained, quick and easy rental procedure, very useful and informative phone app. When we arrived at the airport it was very easy to pick up the car and return it when we came back home. During the rental we needed information about the car that was given to us immediately by phone. Top!

Feb 19,2025The entire process could not have been easier. The Jeep we rented was in pristine condition and did a great job getting us around in December and January. Plus Blue was great, picking up and dropping off was one of the easiest experiences I have had renting a car.

Feb 19,2025After a simple car handover, everything went smoothly. One of our cars had a technical issue, but after a phone call, it was replaced within a few hours. We even received a car that was at least one class higher. The cars are relatively new with low mileage. A perfect experience!

Feb 20,2025Best and cheapest choice!! Compared to different rental companies around the airport and this was by far the best choice regarding price and insurance policies. Easy pickup, (5 min walk from airport), quick and professional customer service. I will use these again.
