Feb 19,2025We loved blue car rentals! Super easy pickup and drop off process. We received a 4wd with winter tyres but no studs, they listened to our concerns of having the safest car to drive around Iceland in the winter and offered us a new car with studded tyres. The prices are great when compared to other companies. I recommend getting the full insurance if you plan on driving around the whole country in the winter. It was really comforting knowing we had free roadside assistance and mechanical which we did actually end up needing. They responded really quickly to all of our emails and were extremely helpful! Definitely would recommend.

Feb 19,2025It felt like it was one of the more reputable companies out there for car rental in Iceland. Booking the car was really simple, the website interface was easy to navigate. They were upfront about any costs and the prices were all very reasonable. Car was in very good condition and it was a very pleasant drive. Returning the car was also fuss free. Would rent with Blue Car Rental again if I'm ever back in Iceland!

Feb 19,2025Great experience start to finish; pickup was available early right after i got off my plane, vehicle ran perfectly and had no issues, they were very clear about what kind of fuel and the expectations to have as well as pointing out the various emergency lines if something happened. Drop off was quick and just as easy.

Feb 19,2025We availed full insurance. They gave us Toyota Yaris instead of a Kia Rio. which was better for me. Yaris is so good and smooth to drive. The staff were very helpful and accommodating with our inquiries. I will definitely avail of their service again when I come back to Iceland. Their price rate was higher than other rental companies, but the sales service and convenience was superb. You get what you paid for. the premium customer services also.

Feb 19,2025The Jeep Renegade we rented was perfectly suited for all the conditions we experienced while we were in Iceland in January. From heavy rain to icy roads and snow. Plus the optional WIFI kept our home cell phone provider fee low and we allways knew where we were via GPS as we noodled all over beautiful Iceland.

Feb 19,2025Blue Car Rental is the easiest rental company I’ve used in Iceland. You can walk to their office from the airport and quickly grab your vehicle with their early check-in. Customer service is always fantastic, too! The team is friendly and helpful with directions.

Feb 19,2025I've never had a smoother rental car experience. It was a simple process to book the desired car with the right types of insurances to add-on. I was super impressed with the check-in process, simply receiving the key via a locker with no time wasted on waiting in line or speaking with a representative, it really only did take 2 minutes for me to be in my rental car after being dropped off from the airport shuttle. The return process was extremely simple as well- just check in with an agent and was done in less than 30 seconds. Would definitely use Blue Car Rental again in the future.
