Feb 19,2025Quick and easy check out with great service! We arrived early morning around 5am and our car was ready and waiting for us upon arrival at the Blue counter. The checkout was easy with no upsell pressure, and the attendants were all friendly. Returning the vehicle was even easier, an attendant did a walk around and we were walking out within a couple minutes. Would definitely rent again!

Very flexible with cars, accidentally hired a manual before and on the day asked to switch to automatic and the staff easily accommodated and paid the difference. Easy to return cars at your own convenient time.

Feb 19,2025Driving the ring road in the winter, I knew I needed the a competent vehicle capable of coping with Icelandic weather. I booked a Land Rover Defender with Blue Car Rental and purchased their full insurance package for peace of mind. The car supplied was perfect for the trip and coped with all weather conditions. The car supplied was in very good condition, clean inside and was fitted with studded winter tyres. I really like that Blue Car Rental are at Keflavik airport. Blue Car Rental also give support throughout the rental process including on call advice during our rental. We had a low coolant warning light come up on one of the days, called Blue Car Rental, who advised us on what to do and recommended a affiliated garage who would check the car. Turned out it was due to the extremely low temperatures and needed a small top up of coolant. Overall the experience with Blue Car Rental was exceptional and I will be using Blue Car Rental on our next trip to Iceland.

Feb 19,2025We usually rent a car from Blue Car when visiting Iceland, this was already the umpteenth time. We always got clean and reliable cars with easy pick-up and drop-off. Blue Car has a friendly staff and their office is very close to the airport. We particularly like the discounted price at olis and ob petrol stations, available with the keychain:) Hope to see you soon again!

Feb 19,2025It is the second time that I rent a car with Blue Car Rental and both times all was perfect. Online booking is easy and very complete, as you can pick the level of insurance you want to have (and read all about it), pick up is very quick and smooth as the drop off. Both times I went it was winter and the car were perfect with winter spiked tires.

Feb 19,2025Picking up the car was easy. No hassle. Car was in a good condition. Returning too was easy. But i wish the counter staff should have advised us to download the parking app. We got fined in one park as we forgot to pay. It was an expensive experience.

Feb 19,2025Online check-in and mobile Renting pass made picking up the car a breeze, it took less than 5 minutes to be on our way. Delivery of the car went just as smoothly. The car itself was as expected, so also no complaints there. Overall nice experience, will probably be my first choice again when we return to Iceland

Feb 19,2025Great experience with Blue Car rental, starting with their website and the easiest experience while booking your car, many options provided, we did opt in for extra insurance and road side assistance as it was winter and roads are covered with ice, so to be on a safe side. The collection of the car was great, prior to us arriving, we have received email with a code to collect our car keys from key box, they keys had keychain with a number where the car is parked and a chip with discount for certain petrol station. In the car they’ve provided us with scraper (this was helpful however some brush would be also helpful as the amount of snow from top of the car was hard to get rid of without it - this was however not provided), during our rental we have not experienced any difficulties with a car. The return of the car was the same easy - just parked the car at drop off sign at the airport and walk in to building an return the key to staff member, they have asked couple of questions and that was it.
