Feb 19,2025We had a fantastic experience with Blue. We did have some trouble checking in online, which may have been browser-related, I'm not sure. But when we arrived the full check-in process from stepping foot through the door to sitting in the car was around 10 minutes, very efficient. The car was in good condition, with blemishes noted accurately. Blue sent us regular updates regarding weather conditions by text/email, and plenty of advice on driving on Iceland's roads including video guides and dedicated signs and weather web pages. The staff were very friendly. Return was very efficient, taking around 5-10 minutes. The one bit of feedback I would have is that at the airport, the signage could be better to direct you to the Blue transfer bus. I am not sure how much control Blue have over this vs the airport. I would thoroughly recommend Blue again!

Feb 19,2025I have rented from blue car several times. I thought it was very comfortable with the way they are organized and also the location of the Reykjavik City Office. They also offer pick ups and drop offs outside opening hours with an online registration which was very convenient for me. If you compare the prize to other rentals, blue car is very fair. I would recommend everyone to go for the Dacia Duster. It is the best and cheapest option.

Feb 19,2025The no contact pickup was easy. The car was well equipped and they had great 24/7 customer service. I highly recommend renting with Blue Car Rental. Also get all the extra insurances just in case, especially during winter.

Feb 19,2025We rented a land rover defender in November and had an amazing time. The car was brilliant. Lots of space and really comfortable for our party of 5. The booking process and collection was seamless and the discount on fuel, albeit small, really made a difference. We visit Iceland regularly and blue car rental will be the only car hire company we will use going forwards. Completely flawless and great value for money.

Feb 19,2025My wife and I had a great experience with Blue. The contactless check-in was quick, the car was ready, clean and had no issues for our week in Iceland. The insurance provided left us with peace of mind. Dropping the keys off at the counter took less than a minute before walking next door to the airport for the flight home. If you're thinking of using Blue, do it.
