Their bike Knowledge was also very helpful when l was looking at bike and size options. Their shop had numerous bikes available and an area where you can test ride the bikes. An onsite service centre with experience mechanics make the full experience very good.

Sep 25,2024I received my giant talon 3 today. Process was straightforward, about a week from ordering to being delivered. Originally I ordered a size too small but they were able to change it for me with no issues. Bike arrived semi built, meaning you have to install the pedals and front wheel, which is fine for me. Frame is not scratched or dinged anywhere. Brakes and gears work as they should. All in all I feel good about my purchase and really enjoying my bike so far. Good stuff BuyaBike

Sep 22,2024Second visit to Buy a Bike in three weeks, this time to buy an early birthday present for my grand daughter. Now she’s as happy as her younger brother who also got his bike from here a few weeks ago. On both occasions no high pressure selling, just friendly advice and guidance which made the final decision so much easier. And this weekend the kids were made up taking their new bikes to the cycle trails in Cannock. Great fun all round.

Sep 20,2024Recently purchased a Cube Attain GTC SLX Carbon from Buyabike, after less than 3 months and approx 650 miles of cycling the bike developed a crack in the carbon frame. This was reported to Buyabike who were initially reluctant to take the bike back although under consumer law any defect arising within 6 months is automatically considered as a manufacturing defect. After waiting over 4 weeks and receiving multiple questions Buyabike eventually agreed to collect the bike and replace the frame. As I had lost trust in this supplier I requested a charge back from credit card supplier and was agreed to by Buyabike which has now been processed. I note Buyabike are now advertising my repaired bike on their website as ex demo with 100 miles? This experience highlights the benefits of using a credit card for purchase of goods which gives enhanced consumer protection in case of defective or faulty goods supply.

Aug 29,2024I am delighted with the service from BuyaBike; having selected a bike on the BuyaBike website I phoned the office to ask a series of questions, including postage to Northern Ireland, all of which was answered quickly and in a very helpful and reassuring manner. When it came to payment I had a little trouble from my bank which delayed the processing; BuyaBike were very patient and put the bike aside for me so it would not be sold to another party, and issued an invoice with a payment link for easy payment once the bank issue was sorted. Posting of the bike was very prompt at a couple of days after payment, and the delivery was equally very prompt with a careful and courteous service from FedEx. The bike was very well packaged in a large BuyaBike branded box, with ample protection and packaging to ensure the bike arrived in immaculate condition. Setup was as simple as rotating the handlebars and setting the seat height, after which a first ride revealed everything set up perfectly with smooth immediate shifting and perfect brake alignment. Any bolts I have removed (bars, bottle cages, and rear wheel to remove the dork disk) have shown ample grease applied and a very high standard of build. Overall excellent service and a very happy customer!

Aug 23,2024I purchased the bike easily from their website and was kept up to date with the progress of the order via email. Unfortunately the delivery company failed to deliver the bike when they said they would :-( After contacting Buy a Bike, a lady called Julie got on the case and chased the company to confirm when it would be delivered, I cannot state enough how much effort Julie put into getting the bike delivered to us at the earliest opportunity! 5* customer service. I would highly recommend Buy a Bike and I will be using them for future purchases.

Aug 16,2024second bike purchase from BuyaBike this year. GT Grade Expert. 2021 model at a great price. Needed advice on tubes or tubeless set-up & Louis was very helpful with pros & cons for both. I chose tubes with tyre liner, my wife has gone tubeless. Happy with both options! Bike was setup perfectly & rides beautifully but I may choose to have the 6 week check done locally purely because it's a 2.5 hour round trip each time to drop off & then collect at a later date. More than happy to recommend both bike & shop to everyone.

Aug 15,2024I purchased my electric bike online from the Buy A Bike website. Before I purchased it, I had a few queries, so I contacted Buy A Bike by e-mail and got a prompt answer, which answered my questions. The website is easy enough to use, making it clear which bikes are in stock and which are not. Fortunately for me, the bike was reduced in price, just before I purchased it. I decided to use Klarna to pay for the bike as they offer interest free credit. I applied and the procedure was straightforward. Buy A Bike acknowledged the purchase and told me roughly when the bike would be shipped to me. I live too far from the shop to collect it. Shipping was £29.95 for a ‘large’ item. Buy A Bike arranged Fedex as a courier. Fedex and Buy A Bike kept me updated as to the delivery date and time. The delivery arrived on time and the bike was undamaged. It arrived covered in ‘bubble wrap’ in a massive cardboard box. Having unpacked it, I consulted the online video provided by Buy A Bike, which told me what I had to do next. Basically, straighten the handlebars and tighten the nuts. And also fit the two pedals. Note: Left and Right are when you are sitting on the bike. Not when you are looking at it. I phoned Buy A Bike to ask a few things and they were helpful. The bike battery arrived charged to 22%. It took me a few hours to charge it to 100% before I first used it. Overall a good buying experience, with good service.
