Mar 09,2022Went in with the purpose of buying an E-Mountain Bike & came out with the Giant Reign in Blazing Orange. An excellent bit of kit not cheap but it's an investment & does everything I want it to do & more. The staff are very knowleageable, friendly & not pushy especially Matt the mechanic who helped me decide on the right one. Keep up the good work & I'll recommend you to anyone wanting cycle bike or gear.

Mar 09,2022Travelled quite a distance to try a couple of Giant EMTBs for size. They even went as far as to build one of the bikes to be ready for me to try upon arrival. The entire experience, from first contact via telephone all the way to them helping to load my new bike into my car, was beyond first class. The staff were all extremely knowledgable, helpful and very friendly. A very pleasant reminder that in this age of anonymous online shopping and chain store box shifting, that there are still family run places like this, that put the customer experience first and foremost. Thank you all so much (the bike is incredible, by the way)!

Feb 28,2022First time I’ve ordered from this company and I was really impressed. Placed an order via their website for a bike after the shop was closed. Received an email that evening confirming the order and that it would be despatched the next day. Bike was delivered the following day. It arrived in a huge box complete with wheels attached and well packed. All I had to do was straighten the bars and fit my pedals. Would definitely recommend. AAA+++

Jan 13,2022Having heard the radio ad for years i decided to give BuyaBike a try when my 7 year old daughter asked for a new bike for Christmas. My daughter is quite petite/small for her age, and while she can get onto both her elder sisters and her brothers' mountain bikes, she cant safely stop. The weight of the cheaper bikes pulls her over and she also finds it hard to get started safely on the road. We've bought the cheapo baby bikes for our youngest (twins) previously from Halfords and the basic Mountain Bikes for our older kids there too. However this is the first time i have required some specialist advice. Word of mouth/online was good for this retailer too so I decided to take the trip to Charnock Richard. I am pleased to report that every aspect of my trip to BuyaBike was excellent! I arrived quite late in the day but the salesperson was attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. Equally importantly, he was happy to listen to my thoughts and concerns, then take up the conversation with my daughter. He explained that he needed to make sure the bike was just right as he and his colleagues needed to build it to specification then ship it up to the North Pole for the elves to wrap - same as the one on Arthur Christmas. Such a nice touch. Having seen a 7.5kg Isla Beinn (and also the price tag!!!) I knew the sort of thing i ideally needed. With Isla out of stock till an unknown date, i was a bit stumped on which model would be best. We assessed 3 models, chatted over price and accessories whilst my daughter did her test drives around the courtyard "test-track" on each. In the end we settled for a Forme Kinder MX 20 Junior at £335.00, this is an aluminium alloy like the Isla, just 1kg heavier at 8.5kg, but £165.00 cheaper. As stock is so tight on bikes everywhere there was zero wiggle in the price - but i negotiated 20% off a Helmet and lights plus received a free cleaning and maintenance pack. All in all i was very happy with the price, the support, the advice given and BuyaBike in general. We have a healthcheck coming up once the bike has covered a few miles, i hope i'll continue to be impressed, and as it stands i'd have no reservations about recommending BuyaBike to anyone looking for a new Bike.

Jan 09,2022I recently attended the shop to research buying an electric full suspension mountain bike . I found Ian and his Teams passion and wealth of knowledge on the subject and bikes in general to be brilliant which led me to purchasing a Merida E one sixty 700 series mtb. I also found the follow up service and back up since has been brilliant too, nothing is to much trouble for the team. I would personally recommend Buy a Bike , Ian and his team as the place to buy an E mountain bike or other models.
