Apr 03,2024I have purchest bicycles from buy a bike before but this is my first electric bike.I have always found staff eager to help but without being pushy.They are very noligable and informative, able to answer any questions or misgivings I may have had .There is always a great range of products to view and bargains to be had.I can honestly recommend Buy-a-Bike to anyone thinking of taking up cycling in whatever capacity, I myself am about to turn 71 and have various health problems but I was still with the help of staff able to find something to suit my needs.

Apr 02,2024Bike tyre came folded up inside a box, meaning the internal wire bead was bent and also the whole thing flew out and hit me in the face when I opened the box. Fortunately it wasn't so badly bent that it couldn't go on the wheel, but they still shouldn't be sending them like that.

Mar 30,2024been buying bikes from these guys for 25 years. even after the businesses changed hands I still got the great friendly and knowledgeable service. went in on good Friday with my wheel as i broke my chain whip trying to get an over tightened rear cassette, Alex put full effort in getting it loose for me with the help of another staff member (it was that tight), then gave me some good advice on a couple of issue I was having. Guy was a complete star.also +1 to park tools for not breaking under the extreme force needed doing the job

Mar 22,2024Top notch customer care. Bought a Merida electric bike two years ago (to offset knee pain when cycling) - been delighted with it. Recently reported that the bike saddle had become loose/rotated too easily. I phoned and spoke with Mike who gave sound advice what to check (necessary details for a novice like me). Mike resolved the issue by swapping out the seat post to my bicycle saddle with a superior grade post and fixing - for free! Just as delighted with the service this time as when I originally purchased the bike (I spent ages deliberating as it was a big purchase but didn’t feel rushed) and would definitely recommend anyone looking to get a bike to try ‘Buy a Bike’, in terms of range of options available and definitely for after care.

Feb 25,2024Recently purchased an eBike from this store. Had an initial visit and spoke to Lewis who gave very honest and straight up advice about the different options for me. I have some level of mobility issues and his advice and encouragement to get back to some level of cycling was very well received and he is very clearly knowledgable about the products and brands. Went away from the initial visit with no pressure and time to think. Returned within 2 weeks to purchase one of the bikes recommended to me and the turn around of delivery to the store and build was ahead of the time quoted to me. Upon picking the bike up I had a full talk through of the bikes features and given the saddle adjustments etc that was needed for me to ride away safely. An absolute pleasure of an experience getting back into some level of cycling and purchasing from this store.

The bike was delivered completely built rather than a box full of meccano which meant after a straighten of the handlebars it was good to go. would definitely recommend these guys and would have no hesitation from purchasing other bikes from them
