Jul 03,2024After much deliberation we decided to visit Buy a Bike because we wanted to see and try what were going to buy. Lewis made us both very welcome and gave us lots of time and attention. His knowledge of all the bikes we tried was very reassuring. E-bike technology has come along way from when bought our first e-bikes 9 years ago. Trying the bikes was a game changer and we were blown away with what the Specialized Como 5 had to offer. So much so we bought two of them. Buy a Bike is a family business who know how to exceed your expectations. With a 6 week after sale check up after purchase, just makes you feel at ease and highly valued as a customer. 10/10. The bikes are WOW! Amazing!

Jun 29,2024Brilliant service! I purchased the wrong sized bike for my son (too big 🤦🏼♀️) so returned it and it was swapped for a more appropriate sized one with absolutely no hassle! In fact the new bike was £13 more expensive which they didn’t charge me for. Can’t fault them 😊

Jun 18,2024Could not recommend enough! The bike I bought my son is brilliant, so strong and well designed, plus came well packaged. But, more than the bike, the customer service was the best I’ve had anywhere. They really went above and beyond to make sure I received the bike without a hitch or extra fees (I live in an impractical area for delivery) I was so impressed by how thoughtful and friendly their team was.

Jun 14,2024Great communication, always fast response on the phone and over email. When I mentioned I was arriving by train to pick up my new bike, they offered to pick me up at the train station (2mi walk away). Bike was expertly assembled, no issues.

I didn’t feel hassled or pressured into buying a bike and everything was nice and easy in dealing with him. The bike was delivered and built as promised and I’m extremely happy with my purchase. Upon collection, the whole team were friendly, very welcoming and professional and I would literally recommend anyone to buy a bike from them, all members of their team are highly recommended and thanks to Mike for helping me pack the bike in my car!

May 21,2024It's been nearly 20 years since I've bought anything bike related and have now bought two bikes from Buy A Bike in the last 6 months. I always used Buy A Bike when I was into cycling years ago, so called in when shopping around for a new bike for my son who had just started riding without stabilisers. We'd also checked out some big national retailers and other local shops, the difference here was night and day - a huge selection of specs, prices etc and super helpful and knowledgeable staff. Even though it was the run up to Christmas and understandably very busy the staff were more than happy to get bikes off display for the nipper to test ride. We got a great spec GT Stomper for him which he absolutely loves at a really good price. As I can't keep up with an energetic 6 year old who wants to hit bomb-holes and jumps on foot, it quickly became apparent I need a bike for myself. Another visit and explanation to Lewis that I have no idea what I'm looking for or what makes a good bike anymore, and within 10 minutes I'd found the right bike for me. I was a little unsure on frame sizes, Lewis advised if I paid a small deposit they would build up the frame most likely to be the right fit and I could try it, if it wasn't right they would build up the other size. My bike was built and ready to collect within a couple of days. Quick test ride and the size was perfect. It's really hard to find customer service like this nowadays when customers are often only focussed on the lowest price. It's great to discover that 20 years later this is still a top quality family business. I won't go anywhere else for the inevitable bike I'll have to buy the missus in a couple of months! Lewis - thank you for all of your time and guidance.
