Sep 08,2023The major things I look for when dealing with a new company is their customer service and knowledge of their profession. The guys I dealt with, especially Ian, at Buy-A-Bike were absolutely outstanding in both areas. Not having been on a bike for many many years I had lots of questions and they dealt with them all with patience and courtesy. It’s fair to say that I was blown away and cannot recommend them highly enough

Sep 01,2023Just phoned to find a part for a bike no one else in the U.K seems to have stock of. Learned its a family firm and the lady on the phone went looking for the part and finally found it in the shop and made the effort to help me out and was very polite. Great customer service over the phone very helpful. TOTALLY recommend!!! Customer service these days doesn't exist but this company was MEGA HELPFULL. I will return in future

Aug 29,2023This was the first time using the website anything went well. The bike came quicker then originally specified. Was boxed up really well. I've not put pedals/moved handle bars yet as bought as a present for our son. Very happy with overall experience and would use again for a bike purchase. Website very easy to use and had no issues at all with my order.

Aug 11,2023FABULOUS shop to buy from!!! Bought a bike on the 8/6/23 and absolutely impressed and extremely happy with my experience. Wonderful family business with that lovely personal feel yet an incredible showroom with every range of bike imaginable. Aidan showed me my bike, fully set up and ready , showed me to a test ride area and allowed me to completely try it out. Ian then kindly went over every aspect of the bike and also answered all my questions on choice/requirements etc! The bike was set up absolutely perfect. On 30/7/23 I returned to buy another bike (first one road second off road) So completely happy and confident their was no question of going anywhere else, well worth the 3 hr round trip! Again fabulous service, like meeting old friends and fellow enthusiast's. The bike ready, set up impeccably and everything fully explained and any doubts or questions fully answered and given the opportunity to look or change mind/choice at anytime. Definitely returning for any servicing (awesome workshop) bits and pieces etc. Very seldom have I wrote a review but just feel this business deserves mentioning very much. Highly recommended and will always call in if in the area. Kind regards John ( cycling nearly 6 decades now)

Jul 23,2023This was my first bike from Buy-a-Bike and they are really helpful, knowledgeable and personal, and most of all approachable. A long-standing family business with no other shops (I still remember their radio advert from 25 years ago), yet loads of premium bikes actually in stock to try out. The bike was delivered by the same person (Aid, the son) who served me at the shop, ready built to absolute perfection ( even the seat height, thumb controllers and shocks), with no cardboad boxes to bin. No hassle, no worries, just great bikes and great uncomplicated advice without complication. Best price anywhere that I have seen. I am confident that they will help me promptly if ever I need them.

The entire experience has been nothing short of fantastic, she is absolutely thrilled with her new wheels. The customer service we received during the purchase process was exceptional. The staff at the bike shop were knowledgeable, patient, and guided us towards the perfect bike & size for our child's needs. Their expertise helped us make an informed decision, and we left feeling confident in our purchase. The bike arrived by courier well packaged in A1 condition unlike previously bought bikes from other store/suppliers. Although the store is not local to us it was well worth the visit just for the choice of bikes and 100% recommending to friends & family.
