Careline365 supply personal alarms to those within the UK who are vulnerable or elderly.
We are acutely aware of the challenges faced by older people. As the years advance, health issues can mean that day to day tasks become more difficult. Sometimes this can mean giving up on the idea of living independently altogether. We believe that this doesn’t have to be the way.
Our mission is to help as many people as possible live safe and enjoyable later lives. That’s why we strive to offer our service for the best possible price. We also like to keep things simple. Technology need not be confusing or scary – it can have a huge positive impact on the lives of older people.
Easy to setup and detailed items asked for on callout info sheet.
Sheryl was very warm, friendly and helpful, answering my queries in a timely way. She ensured I was happy with her answers and asked if she could help me with anything else before we ended the call. She couldn’t have been more helpful.
They were all ways there wan mum needed them
VERY HELPFUL CALL STAFF
The service was incredible, you can quickly contact a real person if you encounter any issues - not a machine or automated voice. When you contact them because of an issue (in our case, a problem with the device) the workers are very helpful and they apologised for the issue - they sent a replacement device which arrived the very next day. The device is simple and easy to use, and when you get connected to a worker they are friendly and help you with your request. Even my tech-illiterate grandmother can get it working, so she asked me to leave a positive review online
We was treated with respect and told us about everything and the man on the phone was fantastic when deciding which one to have
The careline system is a godsend. My dad feels more confident having it after a long stay in hospital as he knows if he can’t get to the phone he can activate his watch. It makes myself worry a little less about him also. On the odd occasion he accidentally activates the alarm there is always a friendly voice there just to make sure all is ok. Well worth the money spent just for reassurance if he gets into difficulty when on his own - an immediate response is there.
Safety comes first they say, so for the elderly and vulnerable this is a must at home for them. And peace of mind for you.
The first time my mother fell after having her her alarm all worked as expected, within seconds of her falling she was contacted through the unit and she was able to tell them which of her contacts to call which they did. The next time was a different story, she’d got out of bed about 5am, was putting on her dressing gown, stumbled and fell heavily to the floor. The detector on her wrist was flashing and vibrating and she presumed an alarm call had gone through. She was on the floor for about 30 mins on a cold morning before struggling to get on the bed. She was a little disorientated and was concerned that contact had been attempted through the unit which is downstairs so she struggled to get downstairs because she wanted to stop any of her contacts being called as she was now up. I have since contacted customer services to ask why she wasn’t contacted when she fell and was told that if you make any movement at all after you have fallen the alarm is cancelled and that you must press the button to activate the alarm. On the website it states the ‘advanced sensor can detect when you have fallen and send an automatic alert to the Careline365 Care Team,’ but I have now been told this only happens if there is no movement. This I feel is a flaw in the system as it relies on the user to be fully alert to press the alarm. Edit - we have been in communication with customer care and it has been explained that after a fall, even if the detector is flashing and vibrating, if you make any movement within 30secs the alarm will be cancelled. We have been advised that she needs to press the alarm if she can or remain perfectly still for 30secs. There is an asterisk on the website right at the bottom of the page in white writing on black background that advises this - perhaps this would be better in the main text. Customer services have been thorough in their responses (apart from the young man who rabitted on about reserve parachutes!) and the main problem lies with the lack of clarity of information on the website which I hope they will consider improving.
very quick, efficient and polite service `tidu
When ever my wrist alarm goes off, even when I havnt needed help perhaps I knocked it on a door, someone has called me to see if I need help. This is I find quite reassuring that there is someone at the end of the line. The people are very nice to talk to.
Highly efficient and strongly recommended
The chap I spoke with at Careline was so professional and polite. He clearly had a good knowledge of the products available and was very helpful and efficient. He was a real asset to the company.
"Great product and amazing service. Unfortunately, I had to use it twice within days of returning home from the hospital. It was a true lifesaver."
Excellent caring service. Always there if and when you need them. Peace of mind for my family.
