Really enjoyed using our city passes. It was a bargain when we worked out the cost to buy all the trips separate. Also as first time visitors to New York it was great that the pass showed you the street etc and best times to visit. Would definitely reccomend city pass to friends and family who are visiting New York.

The stops are too far away and its too long to go from a place to another because of traffic jam. You can't see anything from the upper deck if it's raining and if you want to stay dry. The french audio guide is really poor ..

more than 45 mn in between 2 buses. A person in charge (wearing blue coat -)even offended an english couple who wanted to sit upstairs only - he shouted at them that they were in the US and they had to do what he said : just sit and shut uP . INCREDIBLE. it was near by MACY S. the other bus were empty - NO MORE with CITY SIGHTS NY I also took the bus for BROOKLYN - VERY BAD TRIP _ nothing to see. CONCLUSION : never again;

When buying trips on line and booking helicopter time over the phone or speaking to guys selling on the street, DO NOT listen to what they tell you. You MUST visit a ticket office to collect the 'till receipt type vouchers. A whole day was lost as helicopter trip was booked and on arrival at Pier 6 we were refused our trip. Buses at busy times could be more frequent and not ask all customers to leave the bus and then drive away empty! When crowds form at popular stops employees should be more proactive In organising queues and not allowing people to just 'push in' when others have been waiting patiently.

Tour guide is very experienced and devoted. The river view is fantastic! The boat turned into a slow glide when traveling past the Liberty Statue to allow us to take pictures. Like it very much! It would be even better if some free soft drinks and finger food can be provided on the boat.

We had a few days left in the summer to spend with the kids. The last minute dinner in NYC & a trip around the harbor was the perfect fit! Everyone was polite, courteous and everything ran on time.

We went in August, it was hot, very hot. The staff were very nice and their advice was drink plenty of water and wear a hat which was spot on I would advise hopping off and getting on different buses as the different people doing the talks have different interests which is nice to get different views

Nous sommes français et même si nous nous débrouillons en anglais, le vendeur parlait très vite et devenait très agressif lorsqu'on lui demandait de répéter ou de parler plus lentement. Il voulait nous vendre pleins de prestations supplémentaires sans explications ; lorsque nous déclinions ses offres cela l'agaçait , bref.... de plus il nous a vendu une croisière pour aller voir la statue de la liberté . Alors que les bateaux des autres compagnies s'arrêtaient au pied de la statue, notre bateau ( et donc la compagnie Grayline) est passé très rapidement sans faire de halte !! Donc nous sommes très déçu .

Bought the CitySightseeing tour and CityPass booklet together. Although I had used the online chat option to check that it was possible to buy and collect the citypass and bus tickets at one of the vendor sites listed, and had planned the day around this, it turned out not to be the case. The CityPass is still good value if you want to see the major sites. We had mixed experiences with the bus; the first tour we went on had a truly dreadful guide who did not really speak any English, and was entirely unintelligible. None of the audio channels for tours in other languages worked either. We also had tickets for the night tour bus; although we attempted to get on at what was listed as the first stop on the map, when the buses came they were all full, so we waited over an hour to get on. The guide, however, was superb; witty, funny and well-informed. The boat tour was also excellent and a great way to see the City; though the Statten Island Ferry (free) was almost as good.
