Sosohhhhhhhhh
All the enthusiasm and excitement died at the ticketing office itself. Even after booking online, there was 1.5 hrs wait at their office because of long line. The people were very unfriendly and it was very hot inside the place. Luckily the counter person was nice and did a good job. If you have small children or elderly people, watch out. This may not be a good experience for them to stand in that hot/humid office for 1+ hour.
It was very nice to see New York from these buses, except when it rains of course... so don't buy it to much in advance, in order to see the weather befor! There are free earphones offered to listen to the guided tour, in several languages. The only thing that I didn't like is when the bus guy asked some tips, and told us that 3 dollars wasn't enough! it happened only one time with one guy.
Great way to get to attractions
The stops are not always very visible. When we were left at Brooklyn's ferry stop we were not told exactly were the bus station was neither that the next bus was the last one so we missed it and of course we missed the Brooklyn tour for the day. Plus we had to run back to the port to catch the last ferry to take us back to the city otherwise we would need to go and find the train... The company's guy at the ferry should have given us instructions...
My husband and I used the tour bus our first time in New York. We had so much fun getting to see all of the sights and areas of New York. It rained while on the tour and we were given ponchos to stay dry. I would definitely recommend CitySights NY.
Only one notice: so many feets of voucher got the first day from ticket-office, aren't so smart to put in wallet. I advice a substitution of paper with a simple badge. For the rest, everythings good. Bye!
All has been perfect and as program. Thanks
It was nice and we had many good views. It was not so well organized as in Los Angeles. There we didn't Need to Change the voucher into a ticket at another place, only take the busses. This is easier to start the tour. The Lady at the Planet Hollywood-Desk was very nice and gave us a lot of helpful Infos.
I went on CitySights tour in august. It was really hot on the upper deck when the boat slowed down but the views of NY were awsome. I took so many picture, very cool the boat almost stopped near by the best attractions. You can visit NY from a different point of view. Nice passing by the city traffic and suddenly up north being like in another different place with more nature and no buildings. The speaker was very smart and funny. I would recommend it.
What to do on this trip because only a professional like Johnny can transmit and give the beauty of this city with his photos. Johnny is a very friendly person who knows how comfortable people like us who are intimidated in front of goal pictures.
After a lot of walking and subway trips and after near exhaustion, we tried the service. A lot easier on the feet and easier to see a lot more places and since you're still outside it's easier get a feeling for the incredible city. The main problem, however, was getting the tickets. We found the service on the web and decided to get our tickets in lower Manhattan. We had a hell of a time finding the place. We later learned that the tickets can be purchased at dropoff spots. We'd do it again.
IT WAS AMAZING
Good.........
Hi, I had travelled in a group of 5 peoples and I used a dozen occasion to hop on and off of their bus and cruise service. This is the best service provider company. I was a little circumspect when buying the tickets online based on other people review but that turned out to be false. Some of the things I did and some points worth mentioning about their service includes. a. They are always willing to help. We should know what we are asking with respect to directions or the actual sights. b. I used the downtown, night tour and the cruise tour and all worked out to be wonderful. c. I never had any issues and never had to wait for more than 15 min for their bus service. d. Some people in their review say they had to wait for hrs. This is a rare scenarios but it can happen if you use the last bus to come back at night 7 pm to reach downtown. I was in a similar situation but the company got a new bus becase a lot of people were waiting at the stop at city hall at night. This speaks of their professionalism and service for customers. They are very calm and cool and they render their service very well. e. They ask for tips at the end of the trip which we usually provide to service peoples. f. They explain in details about the different structures and crack jokes and make the journey enjoyable. g. They let us know when to visit an attraction to save time and which ones to avoid if there are any special events going on during the day. h. You can reach them by chat or by phone any time. I tried both and got responses immediately. Pain points: They charge for a 3 yr old which is a waste of money.
I purchased the 8-hour Manhattan Experience as a gift for my handicapped mother. It was specifically for a coach van with accompanying tour guide that was capable of accommodating a collapsible wheelchair. This service was not provided. The employees of CitySight directed her and her grandson to a hop on and off bus. They had trouble making it to the lunch that was to be included. In addition, they ended up lost and could not find a bus back to the parking. They had to hire a taxi to get back to the parking area. I have called and emailed several times in the past month, but cannot get a response from the Quality Control Team.

Oct 27,2016We travel to NYC frequently, and usually we stay for only one day. This time we decided to stay for three. I purchased the FreeStyle package with three attractions. There are more than enough choices on the list of attractions, cruises, and restaurants. We took the uptown and downtown tours and the boat tour. We definitely got our money's worth. We had to use a restaurant for our third choice because we saved the Intrepid and the Starfleet Academy Experience for two choices and ran out of time. My only complaint--I called CitySights and asked about the Intrepid. They told me that the Intrepid Museum and Starfleet Academy Experience counted as two attractions. It isn't true. The Intrepid is one attraction, and the Starfleet Academy is an add-on for $10 per person. I would buy a package from CitySights again though in spite of this.
