These people are not clear in their dealings. I have been trying to open a dialogue with them for 18 months. They deploy the shoddiest of tactics imaginable Having to speak to someone in Cape Town SA is just ridiculous. I would have no reason to trust them. Shame on Scottish Water for choosing to do so.
Ever since I've installed the clear business broadband, there's always one or two hours a day that the phone doesn't work, like what sort of service is this. Customer service lasts till 5pm, they close at 4pm?? What sort of service is this and they refuse to do anything about it. P.S. On the phone we were talking about a 2 year contract, but the one they sent over was a 3 years contract. When I first saw it, just thought I wouldn't be bothered arguing and just signed it. Starting to regret it now Hope you guys read the contract carefully before signing it

The scam artists they quote you one price they send you the contract to sign then they and then resend it again. But they've actually changed the contract. So you think you're you've agreed a price and then 6 months later the price has doubled? You asked to listen to the voice recording and they tell you they don't have it. So they make you an offer to get you by that. So there's no evidence other than the emails of the doc sign and even at that they say that's why I agree to customer service is rubbish. The service they provide is rubbish is constantly down. I'm trying to run a business. I can't even get logged onto a computer. It's absolutely ludicrous. Stay well away from this company

Subject: Dispute Regarding Debt Claim client ref 30295343 I am writing this negitive review to address a matter of significant concern regarding a debt claim of £1,173.19, which I received from UKSearch Ltd on behalf of Clear Business pertaining to a business property I previously rented to a tenant. I would like to clarify that the debt in question is not mine, but rather the responsibility of the tenant who resided in the property. I have provided a copy of the lease agreement as evidence of this arrangement. Additionally, I informed your team that the tenant absconded in 2023 without fulfilling her rental obligations, leaving me with thousands of pounds in outstanding rent. Despite my efforts to communicate this situation, I was informed that the lease agreement was not accepted as valid proof. Furthermore, I was surprised to learn that your records indicate the tenant moved out in 2021, which contradicts my understanding of the situation and raises concerns about the accuracy of your information. I have engaged in lengthy conversations with your representatives, during which I appreciated the assistance provided. However, despite resending the lease and sharing relevant communications that demonstrate my attempts to collect rent—along with evidence of the tenant acknowledging her debt—I find myself at an impasse. It is disheartening that, after all this documentation, my claims continue to be dismissed. In light of these circumstances, I have enlisted the help of a solicitor to ensure my rights are protected and have also reached out to the shopkeeper next door to provide a witness statement regarding the tenant's actions. Furthermore, I have contacted Eastbourne Council to seek assistance in verifying the tenant's registration for council tax purposes. It is perplexing how much evidence is deemed necessary for your company to acknowledge the realities of this situation. It appears that Clear Business is more focused on pursuing financial gain than on addressing the integrity of the claims being made. We have Now submitted more evidence of the tenant's rent payments on statements for year 2022 proving them wrong. I am awaiting their response to see what ludicrous reason COT have to refuse. we have started a internal complaints procedure with Clear Business before we go to Ofwat ombudman.
Despite numerous phone calls and explanations of change of tenancy I am still being harassed. I have never had a contract with Clear Business and am fed up with constant phone calls, messages and emails when the situation has been explained to them many times.
Polite, helpful, understood concerns and tried his best to sort out my query.
Ben has been the most helpful person resolving my ongoing issues he was very understanding & clear in his approach & relaying information to me.
