Well when I first reached out I was afraid about my taxes but once community tax got involved and told how it worked and what they were going to do for me I'm relaxed with a better piece of mind.....#1in my book
I traveled alot and was a independent contractor who got behind in my taxes, and I thought after trying to deal with the IRS my life would never be the same, letters kept coming, tax liens were put out on me and I was way over my head, interest doubled and the debt kept growing,I was $48,000 in back taxes and I heard a raido commercial about Coummunity Tax Services, I spoke with them and they checked everything out and said they could help. After about a year they settled what had climbed up to $52,000 for $500.00. So there is life after the IRS, it's called Comunity tax services. I would recommend them to anyone who has run into the same problems.I feel like the weight of the world has been lifted from her shoulders. Dennis Berry, Central Michigan.
Hursley Brown Excellent experience , everything Ryan promised was done, I would highly recommend community tax to anyone.
They did what they promised. My problems were handled efficiently
I call and get voicemail; no return calls. Everyone is too busy to really pay attention to my case. I am now in arrears with the IRS and you guys are really, really letting me down.
I would like to thank Monika and her team for a job well done and keep up the good work. They were very fast in answering my questions and addressing any concern that I had. Their team resolved my 2014 and 2016 taxes. I now do not owe the IRS any fees for either tax year. I am pleased that i chose them to handle this matter for me. I would recommend them to anyone.
This is the only company I would like to recommend to anyone who has tax issues no matter the amount u owe. I'm speaking from past experience. Pls community tax is the only tax company that can help resolve ur tax problems. Thank u
I don’t see where Community Tax is benefitting me with my tax issues. From the inability to secure any kind of a reduction in tax liability; to requesting the same documents over and over; to constantly rotating people on my account, to not preparing the appropriate documents to prevent the IRS from filing a tax levy against my Social Security payments, etc., etc. Although I have signed everything I have been asked to sign and returned the documents to CTS, sent CTS a payment of $1,125.00 (03/16/17) as requested for a new contract, nothing positive (at least for me) has happened. The 2016 taxes were completed, but I was told not to file them because the balance owed would be included in the new agreement. I still haven’t seen anything representing a new agreement and the penalty and interest continues to grow.
My experience with Community Tax has been quite pleasant. My only concern is when a representative contacts me I forward information to them -- someone else then contacts me for the same thing. Isn't my file accessible to all parties concerned in my behave? This is very stressful to me.
Once I got the right fit with the person helping me it was smooth sailing.
I have been a client of Community Tax for some time and for the most part, I have been satisfied, because without your help, it would have been a terrible experience for me and my husband. However lately I feel at times somewhat neglected. Recently I received a form from the IRS that I didn't understand, so I tried several days and several telephone numbers to reach my case manager. Everyone I spoke to seemed to not have a good command of the english language and didn't quite understand the urgency of my call, which left me very frustrated!! The letter and the form I received was time sensitive and needed immediate attention. When I would call back to check on the status of my call, I was told that my information had been passed along to the proper source, but perhaps with lack of undersanding had not been passed on as I had been toldt!! I was finally given the direct phone number of my case manager and after several calls to him, he finally did call me back with a limited explanation of what the form was for and that I should call the IRS because the payment plan he had setup for me was being canceled and re-evaluated. He initially told me that all I needed to do was fill out the form and mail it back, which was not correct. I had to do an over the phone interview with the IRS. After my phone interview, As it turned out, I had to speak with someone on the phone and wasn't the kind of form I could just mail back in. There were a series of questions to be answered and after I answered them, unfortunately, my plan payment increased by $86.00. I think that had I had the intervention of the case manager, maybe I wouldn't have had to pay as much. Also, I no longer work full time and don't make as much money, so I don't quite understand why I had to pay more? Also, I was told initially that some of the old debit on my back taxes would be forgiven, but nothing seems to changed and the amount I owe as gone unchanged over the years. I guess I am disappointed and again frustrated. Also, I now pay $18.99/monthly for what I thought was close monitoring of my account on a regular basis and that I would be alerted if something didn't look right. I am a little confused how this service actually works?? The only thing I see that it does is it takes care of the yearly amount I pay to have my taxes done and maybe that is all it does, but I don't think this was adequately explained. I am a little frustrated after all the years I've been with Community Tax and all the money I have paid over the years!! Thanks for listening.
The results have been effective and I am appreciative of that. That being said, the communication end needs some improvement. When I was told from a phone conversation that the person I was talking to would be the one and only person, that appeared not to be true. The reason I say this is because I have sent this person 2 or 3 emails with no response. I have also emailed my 8921 several times to still be told that no one has it.
I was advised to consult w/Christine Gandhi yet she is difficult to reach and others often want me to speak to them instead. I signed up for the $36/month monitoring fee yet really don’t feel like much is happening for that fee. I request more frequent, factual representation.
Good honest people that worked hard for me!
It’s extreamly difficult to reach the people dealing with my taxes. I got an updated 1033 that wasn’t really updated. So my balance was wrong and my case worker had a very hard time understanding that my husband and myself didn’t owe in 2016 so my payment shouldn’t go up. Once he finally understood. He didn’t call me back or follow up in the timeframe he told me. No one seems to communicate with each or Customers.
Community Tax Services: I was glad that I qualified for a Tax resolution, Services was good. Every time I called to check on the status of my case, The representative was very helpful, and answered all questions. My case was resolve, ALL DETAILED INFORMATION NEED TO BE TOLD UP FRONT. Only one problem and you're told that at the very end by your attorney, or maybe I misunderstood, from the beginning. You still have to pay the remaining balance, all refunds will be kept until debt is paid off. I am grateful.
Very helpful and professional. they do on excellent job for me and I have already recommend then to two other persons
They have been great to me.

Dec 08,2017Daniel Urban worked with me for several years to resolve a serious tax debt which originated with my divorce, when I discovered that my spouse had not paid our personal or business taxes for a number of years. When I finally realized that every time I called the IRS or the state I just got in deeper water (they are NOT your friends!), I finally called Community Tax. This was not an overnight process; it took time and patience and we had a couple of rough patches when it seemed like it would never be resolved, but in the end we settled with the IRS for TWO PERCENT of the $69,546 owed. Daniel also helped me set up a monthly installment plan with the state of Illinois. The best part is that I never had to talk to another agent after I contacted Community Tax. Anytime I got a threatening letter, Daniel called for me. Even when an Illinois agent came to my door, I just had to say, call my representative, Daniel Urban, at Community Tax, and that was it. It takes awhile for the paperwork and the process, but the other option was to keep living in fear and throwing money at the government for the rest of my life to keep up with what they wanted and what I couldn't provide. If you have had some rough luck in life and need help getting back to where you should be, don't ignore the situation; trust me: it just gets worse and it never ends. Call Community Tax and ask for Daniel!
